First episode is damn good .🔥🔥🔥

Wonderful article..and there is one point ..it is the costumes and sets and greenary , open spaces that add more beauty and nostalgia ...though we live in modern times , where love has become democratised and more liberal , but deep inside we human crave that security from other half and their absolute attention ..this is being fulfilled by historical romantic drama ...moreover , obstacles and dangers and sacrifices that are demanded by character is much more serious and made us more root for them, there is this element of tragedy because absence of choice ..in modern dramas , we just wish and ask questions why can't she leave him and choose second lead , why can't she just concentrate on her career ..all the love does not seem to worth fighting for in modern times but in historical drama love , trust are main plot point on which stories are based ...

Surprisingly it is good ..I thought it was going to be boring office drama with stereotypical bullies , damsels , tsundre , but it turn out be very different ..characters are not perfect and have their own short comings but this is what makes drama interesting ....I know many people are hating on female lead but I found her fresh neither shec is bitch nor epitome of goodness nor badass woman ...she is flawed human , have her own insecurities , commits lot of mistakes even got betrayed , first hesitant to admit her own mistake , that really made her more humane

i finished both! imo secret royal inspector was better than secret royal inspector & joy however i love tae soo…
Couldnt agree with you more ...tae seo was such a intriguing character ..I fell more emotional connection with him ..they just couldn't give proper ending ..

I couldn't agree with you more ...though I have reservation for aggressive leads but I rarely root for second lead ..and I really hated second lead in BOF...fir me he was worse than gu Jun pyo , who participate bullying but try to act so righteous, got insecure with your first love success, flirt with girls like really he knows that female lead into him, touch her and even kiss her without consent ,
Look down upon his friends , he literally play mind game with gu Jun pyo ..on one hand , you don't care about friend feelings and then when girl show no interest then you manipulate your friend to push him towards that girl ( ice hockey ) , he knows that gu Jun pyo is an idiot ..I am not siding with gu Jun pyo but second lead seem more evil

Similarly in heir , cho young do literally physically abuses people ..he literally mentally torchered and stalked the female lead ..just imagine your self in her place

As far as true beauty is concerned , I have no problem with second lead but whole series.( Though it was enjoyable to watch) ... premises of the series seem to be female empowering but it's underlying plot smell of "toxic feminity " ..where every handsome men fell for you , came to protect you, you are the most innocent kind ( like you have no human like faults ) bullied by evil girls , other females are jealous of you, you can change the bad boy who will always love you but you end up with not so bad guy , you are centre of your friendship group , second female lead is villian who is far more talented than you ...Whole concept of importance of inner beauty is just work like gift wrap , they just deal it for 10% in the show and whole show story was pretty generic

12/12 I have got
but I think memoirs of Alhambra has different pattern which includes the utilising " time loops" and "knowledge of one world " in two worlds plots in your favour , like extraordinary you, w , king :the eternal monarch ( I just hate it ) , tunnel , train , Queen &I ..three of these are written by same writer by the way

Just like svaha , the whole mixing of religious symbology with horror is not working well ..svaha was disappointment so this is ...making this kind of genre need deeper understanding of Buddhist philosophy and what actually bit stood for ...still west still has upper hand trying this genre with Christian belief which again and again resonates in horror movies ...

Isn't this illogical argument, rather than talking about content and discussing , you are bringing somebody background…
Nope first you are either mis informed or lying ..because writer herself said that it was based on true story of northern korean spy defector , however whatever you are telling of her husband is coming from some reddit post ..writer never claimed that it was based on her relative or husband ..so correct your facts..
Your arguments are illogical , you are stating sources wrongly ...

Makers want to adapt Romeo Juliet where two families are wrong ..however you can't make it by portraying your own country in bad light so they have chosen ANSP who already have bad reputation so that people won't feel guilty in supporting our main lead
I don't think drama has any glorification of right wing or ANSP A , it's just one plot which is problematic where north korean spy misunderstood as protestor ..which I can think was to reminiscencing the plot of Romeo and Juliet where Juliet did not know the real identity of Romeo and fell in love
After episode 5 , there was nothing which is related to democratic movement as story is entirely different

Well western countries suffers from saviour complex esp left leaning academia media and ngo who thinks it is their mission to save suppressed poor African and asian people against right group...in the process , they wrongly percieve situation and mess things further by interfering ..well it's nothing but reverse racism
