true.. one of the rare BLs... i think theory of love had a very high quality and now this.. and this one is just…
ToL was a great. Gun is indeed a phenomenal actor. I hope he gets more demanding roles as he matures. He was also incredibly good in Gifted (the first season -- he barely got any screen time in the sequel); he won an award for the fight scene, too. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Not Me and The War of Flowers.
:)) i didn't even noticed the product placement....maybe because I was focused at the beautiful boys making eyes…
I consider those product placements part of the charm of these series. They are so in-your-face, they are amusing in their own way. On my next, overdue, trip to Thailand, I'm going to sample every single snack and drink (EST Cola!) that has been advertised. Plus, of course, I'll have to walk across the Rama VIII bridge, and visit all the various campuses, in particular the one with the Engineering Gear. I wonder if the lizard will still be there :)
And what was the deal with putting up with the bullies? The club could have made mincemeat out of them, and it didn't even have to happen in public at the pool. Just find them later in the evening and teach them a lesson.
I hated Wan from the get-go, but she was right about one thing: there was entirely too much abuse going on in the club. Pan was abusing everyone and getting away with it; she almost got Fah drowned, she had the entire big bed and her phone on during the trip to Apo's house, to mention just two things that stand out.
lol. This was actually in reference to a previous comment I made about GMMTV dramas involving engineering/medical student couples, where I pointed out that I (engineering student) was dating a medical student in graduate school :) At least he's not diabetic; insulin needs to be kept refrigerated.
Can we just talk about the fact that Chon's dad just conveniently forgot to tell his only son that he had a girlfriend,…
right, or that he would not have brought her home at least once, and so on. But let's just shut up and enjoy the pretty guys... even the dad is cute :)
Here is a I'm-a-stupid-American-from-a-big-city ( :) ) question: Shouldn't the Foundation director have provided Tian with guidelines, a syllabus, "here is how you teach little kids". OK, so Tian is an engineering student (of course -- this is GMMTV, it would be either Engineering or Medical :) ), but how could he have the first clue of how to *teach* little kids? The younger the students are, the harder it is to actually teach them well. It's not about subject knowledge, it's about paedagogy, something the don't teach you in engineering school (at least not in either the US or EU).
Also, the teaching duty is only for three months? How can the kids learn anything if the teacher changes every three months? Rapport with the teacher at that age is important.
You are not helping me waiting until the drama finish to start watching. OMGosh.
But if you wait until then end to binge-watch, you won be able to paricipate in the discussions here :)
It varies by series, but some, like Theory of Love or Gifted (I know, itś not BL) are well-worth watching again; you find all sorts of details that you missed the first time around. Too bad they are not available in BlueRay, I'd actually buy them.
