I'm on Ep.3 and i have a doubt and hope someone can answer this. Why is ML's son staying with ML's parents and…
I'm not Korean so I don't know. The show doesn't explain it because it's linked to Korean culture. You need a basic knowledge of their culture to understand part of this great show.
It would be nice if they stopped promoting characters that glorify cheaters under the guise of being "mature."…
It never stops to amaze me how people react to certain aspects of a show and they will rate it based on that. I always thought series or movies were about story telling, character development and so on. oh well.
I've watched 2 episodes and really like it but do they really have to play that awful song every episode? "Whereee…
Here is what I've read somewhere: "Two of the songs from the show's soundtrack chime in at least twice per episode. To some degree, the songs give away the emotional state of the two main characters Ji-ho and Jeong-in. The song "No direction" plays whenever the two are thinking about one another or are within close proximity, but are prevented from meeting up for some reason. The song "Spring Rain" plays when the two are thinking about each other but do eventually meet up in person."
I get Korean culture is different from western culture but I do not think she is actually cheating on him it is…
It's a bit sad because each character in this series had a substantial growth. We understood where they were coming from and their motives. Sadly, a lot of people gave it a low rating because they simply didn't like FL's behavior. It's more like emotional ratings than story telling's.
I started watching dramas that have negative comments and reviews and I haven't regretted it yet. The past 5-ish…
Funny because I do the exact same thing. That way, I can lower my expectations. From what I've seen, it has the same kind of vibe as Bring It On, Ghost or Mystic Pop-Up Bar.
"Ki Seok behavior felt way overboard and not totally realistic."I once knew a guy who behaved more or less like…
I understand your point. It might feel that way but they never said "let's break up". ML said a few things while drunk and FL misinterpreted them. It feels more like the "misunderstanding" trope. Personally, I didn't see it as a break-up per say but rather a reassessment of their relationship.
I agree with the fact that a lot of dramas use the "break-up" trope to advance the plot. Same goes for "misunderstanding" or "6 months to two years later" tropes.

As for the cheating part, it's been debated to death here. What I've noticed is we all have our own definition of "cheating". The way this drama pictured the FL is that she was already mentally out of the relationship at the beginning. The ML was just the excuse she needed to end it. For me, she did monkey branch to him. Doesn't mean it's a bad drama tho.
Take stale bread and then sugarcoat it with cream, It will taste good, but later you will have food poisoning.…
Have you ever been in a relationship with someone when you knew it was over but never brought yourself to leave...just because? I understanding what you're saying but you shouldn't judge those who liked it.
I was going to give this drama a higher rating but ep15 changed my mind. This almost end of the drama break up…
"Ki Seok behavior felt way overboard and not totally realistic." I once knew a guy who behaved more or less like Ki Seok. He went to family members, friends and even coworkers to make sure she would marry him. They didn't in the end but when I watched this series, it made perfect sense to me.
Premièrement je tiens à dire qu'il ne faut pas passer à côté de ce drama. Je n'avais jamais vu d'aussi bon…

I might nitpicking but in EP 1 at around 56m, they show us a picture of the Canadian city Vancouver. Someone didn't do their job because it's not Vancouver but rather Quebec city. It doesn't snow in Vancouver and part or the Goblin series was filmed on location in Quebec city.
Welcome to Samdal-ri. Here we serve alcohol in place of water. We offer male simps who don't develop any kind…
It kinda makes sense for them not being able to move on when you have no real reason to breakup in the first place. Sam Dal did try to monkey branch but again, no real reason. As for Yong Pil, he choose to go MGTOW. The way I see it, only Sang Do was a simp.
This show is much better written than any Disney production nowadays. Heck, even Reacher has its flaws but it doesn't mean it's bad.
