I understand what you are saying. South Korea has a lot of societal issues and "One Spring Night" brought one of them to light. "Glory" is all about bullying and "Squid Games" is all about debts or money related issues .
I don't get why the ML being a single father was such a heavy argument against their relationship. Is this really…
Even though South Korea is highly evolved, their culture is very different from American or some European countries. From what I understand, in South Korea, single fathers have no rights. That is why ML's son didn't stay with him. Further more, when the FL decided to marry him, she will automatically become the mother of that child and ensures a lot of things for him. Same goes for divorce, reactions from fathers and friends and so on.
My favorite k-drama. The story is just so organic with perfect pacing and amazing talented cast. (After hating…
I would add these:
1. Be Melodramatic 2. Because This Is My First Life 3. Dinner Mate 4. Familiar Wife 5. Go Back Couple 6. Goblin 7. Just Between Lovers 8. Kill Me, Heal Me 9. My Love from the Star 10. Oh My Venus
Really? I thought the ending was very fitting. Did you expect a wedding or smth? FL is an actress with no plans…
"Definitely a bittersweet ending." You should watch a *lot* more kdramas because a lot of them have bittersweet endings. The ending for this one is perfectly fitting.
thinking abortion is bad, but then offering your child on the internet is peak anti-reproductive rights behavior
The first expression that came up to my mind was human trafficking. How on earth would a mother would give up her child...that was before we learn how she got pregnant.
Whoa...several scenes were shot in my home town. It just feels weird all those locations I know so well :) Also, in episode 10, the main character goes back to Quebec at New Year's day. At that time of the year, the city is covered with snow and temperature often drops to -20c. And yet, in the drama, leaves are still falling from the trees... I can forget mistakes like that simply because it's a great show.
