Another example like Pachinko would be Alya: the daughter of War. It's here, it's a co-production as well, it has no S-E asian production company involved, but has other Asian aspects that are valid in the industry, like a story/book/documentary, crew and many other aspects. A co-production includes a multitude of terms. Pachinko has a korean production company and was inspired by a korean novel. Memories of Geisha it's inspired by the american book, fully produced, directed, screenwrited by an american crew. I only head of minari so I can't form an opinion.

Mdl isn't just for kdramas, many co-produced films are on here as well. Pachinko it's just the first you discovered, but I assure you, plenty of them are in here, even with just a few S-E asians in it. If you go to search filters you'll see 7 countries, but co-production films includes every country in the word with one of those 7.

Master's sun, she was pretty, Jugglers, what's wrong with secretary kim, the secret life of my secretary, cunning single lady, level up, coffee prince, marriage contract, rich man, radio romance. I see that you watched lots of shows, hopefully you'll find at least one in here and you'll enjoy it! Her private life it's also really good, but the girl isn't super poor, but the drama has good vibes

It's a story per 1-2 episodes, with the main focus on the primary problem. I don't want to spoil the ending with my true opinion and I'll go blant, just watch it. I'm on s2 and I'm not bored one second

The beginning was so boring for me, but bc ppl said it gets better I gave it a go. This drama gets better and better, episode by episode! Such a new concept and an old one combined, the details the writer put effort in making and the actors fit the characters perfectly. This year's dramas all had the same revelation apparently 😂

Do I want the kdrama world to only have happy and light endings, so it's a parallel universe from the reality we live in? Most definitely! Kdrama rom coms are for us to dream, we don't seek a reality check in them, but unfortunately this one had bipolar traits and couldn't decide the genre they wanted it😂 so they did another porridge

I never saw it as a light rom com, more like coming of age type of drama from the get go, so in my perspective this one fits perfectly

He'll never date Ha Ri seriously no matter the circumstances, but now that she moved on to a better person than himself and she's not available anymore, he'll perceive it as a chase and try to win her over and if it succeed he'll slowly become bored of his great achievement and would dumb her and get going to the next target
