It was well made, pretty satisfied with it, I hope they don't let the ending open for a potential season 2 if the rating is high and in demand. As much as I'd like to see them 2 again, the ending was tragically perfect, they will milk it to the point of ruination, I am afraid..
Okay now I am disgusted by this show - the non guilty verdict wasnt enough? now Fl and her friends watch the video…
You're either really young or didn't mature yet as I see from your comments. You also come from Germany, where people really love to follow the law, unfortunately in Korea, the laws are on the man's side, as sad as it is, especially if it's a husband or under alcohol influence, is easy to get away with it, exactly like this case, mental incapability. There are many cases where the victim is to blame for, so the women don't take legal actions as it will rule out not guilty or small sentences and the beating will be even worst afterwards. After you are beated for a decate, do you think you have a righteous judgmental? Humans react differently, others snap, others froze in fear. It was her way of revenge, is it legal? No. Is it correct? Depends on who you ask. Put yourself in their place, knowing someone you truly cherish was in pain for 10y, without you knowing, you are in shock and go into a process of emotions, as I said, people react/ heal differently. When you truly love someone, the law is your last concern in such cases, you'll only understand once it happens to you, if you can't learn from observing others, it also shown in previous episodes that love takes away your judgment. Plus, the lawyer is there to represent you, be by your side and win the case, that's the goal, many says the lawyers are the sharks of the legal field, everyone has different ethical values, legally speaking, in Korea she can keep the video if nobody knows it (only if they knew about it, in this case they didn't and lawfully she must protect the client by not volunteeringly present it, only if requested it by court she's legally obligated), everything the client says is condifential and must protect him, the only gray area was applying for mental incapability, they didn't lie in court, they just chose to not reveal the truth if not asked, the reason of the tea conversation. Idk why you are disgusted by the show, as they used the law as a weapon of defense like everyone elses, luckly in this case the real victim won. In other countries, the victim would of won with the domestic abuse, but not in Korea.. the show also portrays the fcked up system of their own country.. I took bioethics and ethics courses both in high-school and university and surprisingly, what your first insist thinks is right, is usually not ethically correct :) I could go on into the video, with valid legal arguments, but you must know the law otherswise it will take too long to explain. You are confused by the show as many details that are essential, you omit them, must be more concentrated on the show to rule out those little frustrations with it, as it is already showing the explanations and maybe more knowledge of the korean law otherswise is hard to follow such shows.
2 FL saying she has no family but what about her 20 year old kid?
She mentioned that even her own kid disrespects her and feel ashamed with her. She's hurt that her own daughter is like the ex husband and mother in law, acting differently, but feeling the same. I would also feel like I have no family, family isn't only on paper and blood, you must act like one to be considered one. You can clearly see, she loves her daughter by the pictures she's displaying, but if the kid chooses to leave/ignore her, obviously you have those feelings of loneliness. Plus, it's toxic to relay on your child that's barely 18 (20 in Korea), you must not be a burden, she's saying she has no one to relay on in that sense.
I sensed from the start what the message they wanted to show: in the world, but especially in sk their life depends on the level of education. They emphasized on "kids, don't kill yourself or between each other for a mere paper. Change, stop following into the adults steps, letting yourself manipulated and just continue the vicious circle. Be more kind to you and the surrounding people. You're becoming crueler each day." I wasn't disappointed at the ending, bc I predicted it, would I want something else to feed my fantasy imagination, yes, definitely, I'd like the ending everyone wished for. Lots of redemptions, lots of karmas. Ppl are sick of the educational war, the mandatory army, for the negativity and what's sad, most ppl can only survive in this world by becoming cruel as well, only a few can live peacefully by still remaining good humans. Action packed in first part, with glimpses of bonding with an impactfull ending and a strong start for part two and they focused more on the characters, I liked it. Bc that's irl, when you meet a new person you're just chilling, not hear their ID number and traumas on the spot, once you started liking them you start wishing to know more and you're actually curious and it's interesting for you. It's easy to sympathies with the characters after this. What I've observed, the relatively good kids survived, the 4 weren't assholes, karma was kind to them. But are some plot holes, things not entirely explained(or I didn't payed attention) so I think a season 2 is in the making, only a few characters from previous cast, the first student that was captured, they never explain what happened with it, so maybe a potential villain. Similar to AOUAD. Those spheres aren't entirely gone, especially the huge rare ones. Maybe the cute song was trying to mislead us into thinking this is the end or I'm overthinking it. We'll see
Waa, the moment I saw kim do gi riding his friend to the military base I smelled either the story will be around this or will be an early hint for an extended season, but they incorporated it in s3. My hunch is that his mom was a planed murder, most likely from the higher ups to shut his mouth, idk, her death was brought again and again, must be a hint of the direction they wanna take. Lots of whistling in the military, I'm wondering if the teapot wasn't the source of the sound. We'll see
Dived in without context. Bored to death at ep 1, binged it till the end like my life depends on it and believed the fantasy plot and the end kind of ruined it. Why. WHY. They don't even know what they want the end to be, a realistic or a fantasy one, so they choose both thinking they did something there and failed.. "it's up to interpretation" type. It wasn't bad, but if it's a fantasy gender than it doesn't need to be realistic or logic.
I remember in previous episodes we saw glimpses of the military life of KDG, I sense an episode with that will come, military has roten roots of corruption. Maybe there he'll face some struggles and won't be as smooth as always. Can't wait!
As I predicted OHJ it's a small villain, although he's inocent face can easily trick you otherwise.. They'll now start playing cat and mouse for a while, the mouse being OHJ ๐ they sense it from the start when he was noisy to look in the lockers, we've got small hints..
can anyone explain ep-6 ? i did not understand the plot in the case!
Villain wanted property by scamming desperate couples that can't get a bank loan (you need to meet certain criteria aka the family portraits), but those couples can't keep up paying and the villain swipes in and take their apartment. Villain is giving them the necessary loan. My guess is that even if you have money you need to be married or so to put your hands on such apartaments (I know this from Happiness)
Does anyone know why he punched his friend during the basketball game? He was saying "you denied it" or something…
A conversation between them on a bench, the friend said she's cute and he got defensive saying to not even try, bc she's his and the friend assured him he won't do anything and to chill
On the contrary, I am sure there are plenty of people like me who want it. The setup is perfect for a slight romance…
For DG and GE, I personally feel sibling vibes that bonded over similar trauma and became family, I like them like that, it's a better type of love in this case. We'll see what the screenwriter will do and who's gonna get their wishes ๐

Why are you coming at me so aggressively for expressing my personal preference? ๐ I like what I like and your demeaning comment won't change that, if the theme it's brutality, than that's what I am here for, I don't like porridge series. I either cry a river, laugh my eyes out, my veins pumps out or feel butterflies in my stomach, can't have all of them strong emotions in a spam of an hour. In the future, learn to engage in a conversation where you have a different opinion without bringing your superiority complex into it. Spitting useless negativity, do some qigong, seems like you need it. Take care!
I hope he's not, but I have a feeling he could be the sniper because of the voice distortion. If I was the writer,…
The sniper said he'd look into him, hopefully is a he, if is a she with a new romantic plot I swear๐..but the original screenwriter is back, so I hope predictable plots won't be on the table and we'd be satisfied!
Woah, is the sniper the new guy? Like is he an anti-hero as well or he was supposed to pick up the money from this cop and we actually have a bigger boss, bc the cop was telling to someone on the phone he secured the money.
Is it correct? Depends on who you ask.
