Can't believe its going to be over soon :(... This drama is honestly going to be one of those that in a year from now will be looked at as one of the best that came out in 2023.
I hate the ML and FL for playing two sides. In a sense Sang Su is a bit more respectable since he decided to end things with Mi Kyung first before pursuing a relationship with Soo Young. Not that he's likeable but with respect to how he is thinking things a bit more through. Meanwhile Soo young is LITERALLY cheating.
So far 2nd ML seems the most honest and true to his feelings. I like Mi Kyung as well but she seems like she's only kind to get things done her way - kind of in a shrewd manner. There is a lack of genuine feeling in her actions.
This is probably super unpopular, but I was kind of rooting for the ML and 2nd FL. I do feel that her personality might be somewhat fake but if she is genuinely like that to everyone - super nice, confident and cheery then I'd say as of right now she's being more genuine than An Soo Young. I really dislike how An Soo Young constantly denies her true feelings in front of Sang Soo to spite him and make a mockery of his feeling and even lie to herself - it's as if he's in an unrequited love situation which makes her super frustrating.
I understand she has to be weary because of her past experiences which seriously affect her but it's just that her behaving like this also confuses Sang soo and other people around her. I do predict that this will probably change as the story progresses but seeing things right now at face value I definitely am rooting more for 2FL and ML even if this is a mega unpopular opinion.
From EP 1-15 this was a masterclass show in a completely different league. 10/10. EP16 wasn't terrible, just poorly executed and rushed ending. It feels like the build up from EP1-15 had nothing to do with the ending really. Now, some people could disagree with this but when I was halfway into EP 16 I genuinely thought that this show will have a season 2 and that's what the final EP was building towards but no, it was definitely disappointing. Still one of the best shows in 2022 personally.
bruh i just watched the first ep and i have to agree this is a pretty dumb start. bro actually broke in to the most high security mansion to ask the president for a favour which is to eat food.
Im speechless, this drama is nearly a masterpiece. Very annoyed about how it ended, in 2 minutes they summed up the ending with 3 or 4 difference scenes. Felt like the drama was building on so perfectly only to have a rushed ending which made the build up useless.
Episode 7 felt so slow, they spent the entire hour around Dong Hee's self-deprecating behavior and how he feels "envious" towards Shin dae. I agree with some comments, this should be 12 episodes and not 16. This had be hooked during the first couple of episodes, really hoping things speed up and change in the latter half.
