Ji Chang Wook seriously needs better scripts. He's so talented, it's a waste.

At first I thought when sangtae was saying the butterfly killed his mother, it meant Munyeong was the killer. But in the flashbacks, munyeong was tearing the butterfly apart in front of gangtae so it wouldn't make sense. I realized the butterfly may be an enemy they have in common...I love this show so much.

I just finished this series and I'm so overwhelmed. This show truly taught me a lot and it was so fun and comfortable to watch. It's very rare to find k-drama's which really leave a big impact on you. Wow. Just wow. Reply 1988 will always be a special show to me.
I could name all the good things about this show and the plot itself, but then I'd be going on for days. I just want to say that if you are looking to watch a meaningful and quite realistic drama, this is the one. Go for it.

Brownie youre right thats also why kdramas here almost all of them are above 8 which is ridiculous, you should be able to know when a drama is bad and when one isnt. MDL should take some lessons from IMDb, imo.

Seen an episode and already love it. The female lead is really one of a kind, the character as well as the actress herself. People who're hating on Go Ah Ra, watch first, then talk.
She's really showing her skills in this drama thus far! 'L' isn't bad either.. He could use some more intensity to his acting though.
