queerbaiting exists because entertainment agencies are too scared to make actually homosexual characters but still…
You do realize that the company label isn't the only one associated with the project, there's plenty of people and teams behind the scenes and they all may not necessarily support bls the way you think they do. "makes no extra money from either the presence of lack of bl between sky and nani in this show" they do, that is the whole point. If gmmtv were to someday pivot into hetero content, if they play their cards right they will indeed make a lot more money than they do now from a niche audience. How is me criticizing sky and nani being promoted as a cp without actually doing a bl mean I am criticizing the sexuality of the ACTORS? How did you even make that connection? Their work doesn't dictate their sexuality. Just because someone is a CP or a ship doesn't mean they are actual couple or just playing a queer character doesn't make the actor queer. The same people who are now defending and deluluing over the skynani CP now will be the same ones to hate on them and call them queerbaiters, accuse them of fanservice if in the future they come out with hetero irl partners.
Mockery of fans? When did delusional shippers become fans? Maybe u r one of those delusional shipper bcz I as…
Girl OP is not asking them to do a BL, OP is holding them accountable for doing a BL adjacent series knowing the audience is majorly delulu shippers while mocking said delulu shippers to their face because they already know they will still eat it up.
So many people here defending the show not getting that they are the exact type of target audience this show is exploiting. The people who are mad for the right reasons are not mad that they are not doing a BL, they are mad they are reaping the benefits of a BL without committing to one. That indeed is queerbaiting. Like someone in the comments mentioned, they found the code. Try to see it from this perspective: if the series was made with actors who are not a popular ship or if it had come out before they became one it would have had a lot smaller audience(provided there was no "shipper" marketing)
Romeo is being double cast so who is the main actor and who is the understudy because to the audience Dean is still the face of the play with the promotions and all. And what happens to the friend role Jack wrote "specifically for Raffy". We already know from the trailer Dean is Romeo. Is Raffy aware he might not even get to act in the play at all, he's losing the one role he did have? Or because the play will technically have multiple shows he is okay just being a Dean replacement for some of them. Nobody give me spoilers please. Opinions and discussions, I would love to hear from others.
Right after getting married to his love of over a year he finds out he is a con man, gets abandoned by his family but he is reacting like this is just a minor inconvenience. I- I knew the angst wouldn't be as bad as I hoped but they just skipped it and made it a comedy. Man just skipped the sorry and went to I love you whether you like it or not. Not my kind of series anymore
Based on the trailer that shows the kissing scene between ArnoldDean and Jack looking distresses, plus spoilers…
So Dean is not a girl's girl? He was rooting for Tua, wasn't he? I thought the ArnoldDean kiss was part of the play. Don’t answer. I don’t want spoilers.
Does anyone know if we will get a cast reaction for ep 2 and next or not? We only got one for ep 1, I was kinda looking forward to them. Also, novel readers, does Pete have any plot points?
I just hope they intentionally left out the messy scenes from the trailer and didn't actually play safe with the series for fear of backlash from toxic shippers over ghost ships.
His full name is Peachayarat, in short Peach. Look in Lookpeach can mean both a baby/little one or round fruit. Plub called him little one and Thee used both to tease him. Peach also calls Plub Lookplub, as in his little one/little sister.
So Thankhun was adopted to treat Thanphob. Thanphob was sick and used his adopted brother name to avoid problem…
To make the timeline clear: Botpleng lost his memory - 10 years ago Botpleng's mother's accident - some years after Botpleng's (because he mentioned spending time with his mother, her taking him to university) Thunphob was confirmed alive - 5 years ago Thunpob's death - time not confirmed, but must've happened in the past 5 years(if Tankhun did not lie), his body found possibly a month ago Let's not assume Tankhun sent him the diary(he could've but we can't confirm it yet), it could've been the dead caretaker, as mentioned in ep 1, and Tankhun's act could've just been triggered by Botpleng's email. Since the times of Mama Thayadol's accident and Thunpob's death are not confirmed, there is a chance that the two are connected. I need to rewatch to confirm this - so far there have been two murders, both victims connected to Thayadol family. Botpleng's dad or his past is definitely connected.
You know what you guys have never read a mystery novel or anything. don't you know whenever an author writing…
I highly recommend you try watching at least one Knives Out movie so YOU know how mystery is supposed to be written. Stop glorifying bad writing by calling it "mystery". This series does have the typical clues and suspenses that make the mystery, but they are separate from the glaringly obvious plotholes that are just bad writing.
The first episode was good but after that it's pacing is very weird and inconsistent. Pleng lost his memory 10 years ago, Thunpob was still alive 5 years ago, if Pleng isn't faking his memory loss as Tankhun confirmed, his connection to Thunpob's murder is cleared. Maybe all this will make sense afterwards. Meanwhile the only thing working well is the ML's chemistry. Inconsistent pacing and emotions are making it difficult to land. There is no proper tension building. The pilot trailer alone tops the series so far.
