Tbh, I don’t think wu lei screen time is not less at all. I’m happy this drama is brave enough to stick to the novel. That’s the way it should be. Each n every character does his/her part so well. His part will unfold later. Actually Screen time is not important. The quality of the performance is.

This drama giving out a deep style of character development just like story of minglan. Even the details of the casts’ acting super good unlike these days dramas. The episodes flow is just like the novel, the scenes of ling buyi and his story will be unfolded in the future episodes.
Yeah, ml's character is tbh more interesting than the fl story in the novel..can't wait to see these two babies…
The drama is balanced for sure since it’s wu lei playing lby 😍 Yes… I’m so happy he paired with Lusi here. They perfectly fit their characters. I really love Shaoshang’s smart love here. Her POV on love and. Everything is unique. She doesn’t worship love like most FLs out there.
