The plot is typical xianxia but what I like is that it’s not draggy and no miscommunication trope so far

Ok so I think SWM snitched to save LLF which got him sent away by emperor bc he snitched and everyone thinks of him as the bad guy. However SWM met the princess at the pagoda and essentially by SWM snitching he made it impossible for the emperor to kill LLF bc if he killed LLF he’d get the princess angry and people would think he killed LLF for the reason that LLF is the princess son. This forced the emperor to send LLF away as to not upset anyone and to not get a bad rep since LLF was also his subordinate originally.

We’re already half way through but I feel like this drama should’ve been longer!! I feel like instead of having the scenes for the sister, we should get more scenes of GZY improving or more of Wufeng or something. At first, the sister was ok but now it just feels like filler like I don’t need to watch her cringey moments. It’s really not adding anything to plot. I feel like this drama shouldn’t have any comedic relief or at least not that long of a comedic relief.

No bc I’m so frustrated by In Kyung like what is the point in what she’s doing aside from this so called justice she wants like clearly both her sisters are “suffering” … like fine if she wants justice but she has to be smart and she is just being so irrational and bullheaded it’s so annoying like she keeps thinking she’s right and like her actions have no consequences it’s driving me insane

Fr I got so annoyed like clearly he just wants YX back. If YDD wasn’t YX he wouldn’t be protecting her, he’d be continuing his search for YX elsewhere

I’ve only watched to ep 8 but so far the plot moves quickly and I think it’s been pretty good. Idk if the middle will be kind of stagnant tho but it’s more or less about reincarnated love and finding the one you love after thousands of years type vibe so if you’re down for that I think you should give it a shot.

Yes I was thinking the same with love and destiny situation and I’m glad that they kind of explored that area where reincarnations are not the same person so I wanted it to happen here too bc I just don’t think YDD and YX are one and the same and the romance is looking like a replacement tbh which makes me sad bc YDD is a good person and I think she should be happy

Fr like if LY was given the choice to “save” YX by killing YDD “again” he probably would so I feel like his hesitation was merely guilt bc YDD was so good to him and he got to see more of her as a person . I don’t think they will address whether YDD and YX are different tbh but it wud be a better plot than LY and GBX constantly bickering haha
