I didn't mind aunt Xu dying idk i always thought she was a little annoying lol and Huaien was just so questionable like wth I felt so sad for Yi Xiu and Jin'er should've died idec like all of these people deserved to be killed but Awu would just either release them or not do anything. I was so annoyed at how Awu didn't even kill Helan prince knowing that he was a part of the plan for killing Xiao Qi and Zidan should've died instead of Awu's father omg im so mad lol

I thought it was just me that thought Jason lost so much weight like his jawline is protruding out of his face even though he’s “muscular” lol and I agree You Rou is really tiny and she’s suppose to be the daughter of a general which is so awkward like she’s so frail but she’s suppose to know martial arts ?!?! Lol

I’m surprised China let this aired with the amount of flirting and how touchy WKX is lol

And the thing I hated with the new characters was how they plot against Awu and Xiao Qi but then when they have their downfall, they suddenly realized they’re wrong like way to be anticlimactic. I feel like this drama was trying to achieve Harlem problems and political problems but they failed lol they should’ve did what Joy of Life did and just focused on the political struggles instead of having wanru and jiner and Helen trying plot against Awu

Honestly it felt like two different people wrote the script for this drama. The beginning was sure tropey but I enjoyed it and towards the end was just wasted potential

I just finished this drama and for what?!??! For what did I finish this drama for lol?!?!?! The FL has no character development. I literally do not understand why she's so against her father like bro your father is right. The other kings are useless and a baby cant be king so why cant he be king omg lol. Also, am i the only person who finds the deaths of the rebels & enemies so anticlimatic?!?! Like all the evil people just get stabbed out of no where and it's so unsettling like sure it flows w/ the storyline but it doesn't. These are smart people who are scheming for so many eps and you're telling me they died from one stab wound. Also, I said this once and I'll say it again, ML should've had more screen time or at least have the same amount as FL like I did not have to see FL and helen prince for a multitude of eps lol. They could've filmed ML and how he got back on his feet and how he managed to find where FL was. However, the only thing I liked from all of these frusrating recycled tropes is how the problems were easily resolved. There wasn't much miscommunication bt FL and ML so that's good but FL be getting on my nerves in the last third of the drama.

FOR REAL!!! I need a drama where if the lead sees an opportunity, they better take it. Like fine Awu you dont wanna kill helan prince then dont kill him but why would you release him like wth. I'm so angry lol

the first third was interesting the second third was okay and the final third was just messy lol like what in the world. I freaking hate the older maid that works for Awu like she butts her head into everything and shes wrong in literally everything. I'm on ep 64 rn and Awu is making me question her character like if you respect the soliders that died and love your hubby you shouldnt hide the truth. Rebel princess my ass. This drama has nothing to do with her. it literally puts her into the drama to put her into the drama like she had zero character development. you would think that after everything she went through and after everything her husband went through, she'd be stronger and more determined. She literally doesnt have a mind of her own and its so annoying. It's also really frustrating how she didnt kill helan prince like bitch wtf he tried to assasinate your mans. There could've been so much character development for awu once she knew about helan prince's scheme, she could've been stronger and made a plan to take them all out or worked w/ her husband to take them all out. Literally Awu's only skill is confrontation lmfao. At least grow some balls like Jin'er and plot something. I'm so annoyed. If we weren't gonna get character development from Awu, then we should've had more scenes of Xiao Qi. I don't even want to finish this bc it's so frustrating how Awu can just be a walking rock.

I just watched the first eps of both dramas and I prefer this one too lol I think this one has a more interesting plot
