I didn't think I would've liked this drama so much but it's so freaking good OMG. Each character was so interesting and the fact that they all had flaws made them even better. I have yet to watch anything so far this year that made me want to binge the entire thing in one sitting. I hope there can be more to this series but only if the directing/writing remains this immaculate lol. This drama was honestly chef's kiss. :)

I’m like skimming the comment section and I’ve seen quite a bit of people saying it’s gross like what do you mean gross lol? Is it like bloody gruesome gross or like conceptually gross?

Im on ep 9 so far and I like it although I feel like the problems (especailly the relationship problem) was dragged out but they cute so I guess its ok. The only thing I don't really understand is how fast the FL changes like one minute she's bratty, especially when she was drunk in the military but the next, she's calm and collected like when she got back to the manor and told the general to come back to the military. It was like a different person. I actually dig the more calm and collected vibe but since she's cute ill let it pass lol

oh for real like where did people get the idea of it's gonna be serious or have intricate plotting?

I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the ending like the ending made me satisfied but also unsatisfied lmfao

I had to suspend any sort of common sense while watching this drama bc the amount of stuff that happened was astounding lmfao but Im really liking how cute and funny it is and the fact that she confessed that early was a change bc other dramas, the shortest would be like 10 eps in. Although I dont see where or how she fell in love w/ him when literally she was scared and annoyed by him before he got injure but ill suspend common sense and beliefs here lol. Honestly if I was her Id fall in love too I mean hes tall, handsome, talented, a general, a badass, bruh he's got it all lol.

Ive been reading a bit of disappointed comments but reading urs made me happy bc I actually really liked the first 4 eps its super cute and i like the fast pacing lol no time wasted

lmfao now that u mention that about the battle it was out of nowhere but he looked like a badass so i aint complaining

Honestly I enjoyed this drama more than I thought I would have. I thought that FL was gonna lose her intelligence and become a damsel in distress and the ML was gonna be dumb as well lol. But I'm glad they retained their personalities/characteristics. I do have to say tho, there isn't any major character development like everyone kinda just stayed the same but I don't think that hurt this drama bc despite remaining the same, it was still interesting, especially how the friendship of the gang formed. I really enjoy dramas like these where everyone trusts one another and build a strong bond lol. I also enjoyed how the leads misunderstandings never were dragged and I really like how FL trusts ML. The romance was chef's kiss lol but sometimes the ML would look kinda awkward but this is his first drama I think so he did great lol. I so want to say tho about the guard and the princess from the other country? like I wished their romance blossomed as well; I was kinda sad that it didn't.

The plot is good but the cast really made the entire story for me. Each character is so lovable and cute omg I’ve never seen a drama where I never got tired of any characters and love and appreciate them all so equally lol. The second couple is so cute omg I high key want to see a spin off where he gets promoted and she gets to take over FL detective business or she opens a new detective business lol

When you are a fan of Merxat but you’re also tired of him always being second ML and never getting the girl lmfao

Y’all I’m only on ep 8 but the chemistry between everyone esp the leads is immaculate

I was reluctant to finish the drama too but then I pushed through and honestly not as bad of an ending as everyone made it seem. It is a bit annoying bc you have to fill in the gaps but I think it made sense lol

bruh me 2!! Like if this drama was a love triangle bt ML FL and Xue Mu, I would've shipped FL with Xue Mu lol

Honestly i started dozing off at the main couple lol I was more interested in second couple

She literally regains her Phoenix blood last ep and the epic battle at the end was just sad like FL barely did anything. The fighting scenes were just overall underwhelming
