It’s hard to say I think it was just a dream but both FL and ML in modern world were in the dream if that makes sense

Same, I felt like the ending was really rushed lol like either have an entire episode of how she came out of her dream or end it on a cliffhanger.

This is the most annoying disturbing confusing boring ass drama I have ever watched and it was high production my ass. I pulled through and kept fasting forward and honestly this could’ve easily been twenty episodes less like the amount of drag in this drama is insane wtf. I hated the leads with a passion omg the FL is so annoyingly dull and boring and the ML is gahhhhh, I can’t stand him. The purple eyed girl was okay but she needed to be more evil or just something. The purple eyed prince idek why he was in the drama for so long, did he really have any impact on the FL? No. The Bi Ying girl was fucking annoying and honestly I didn’t care too much about her dying. The second brother Ming Lei was bearable at first but if you’re not going to go through with the revenge than bruh why’d you make it so grand. His wife deserved more than him omg. The characters here are problematic and it’s not even an interesting good problematic, it’s the type where it’s annoying and quite boring. Everything would’ve been solved if the twins were honest in the beginning and told purple eyed girl that she liked the other twin and not the dude on the wheelchair. It’s annoying omg.

The ending tho I would’ve liked it to be more open ended or like it ended when she woke up just in case of season 2 but I think it was good enough or like idk I wanted FL to bring ML to modern world maybe? But ik it won’t happen since he’s fiction lol. Idk the ending bit seems a bit rushed and a little underwhelming but I balled my eyes out lol

I said it once and I’ll say it again Jin Xiu deserves better than that piece of trash character

I’m so concerned on why he chose that outfit to dance in lol

I’m 40 eps in and I want to dig my eyes out lol but I’m too far in to quit however I’ve just been skipping parts lol. I think you should just watch other dramas but this drama is frustrating to say the least.

Honestly as of right now there is anything WOW out lol I’ve been watching dramas with my fav actors and actresses but nothing plot wise has been WOW. However the romance of tiger and rose is pretty good and light hearted. Fake princess is also pretty good and light hearted. And the winner is love is pretty good, simplistic plot but good chemistry in my opinion.

I’m so annoyed that Nong Ying died and everyone else had a happy ending. It didn’t even make sense like they had time to change into red wedding outfits and to hang wedding decorations but she couldn’t see a doctor!?!?!?! There was no reason for her to die like cjjdiskzkxmxmxmxkx

There really wasn’t a need for Junko in this drama lol and I heard they cut a lot of HY and YC scenes so rather than having Junko, they should’ve had HY and YC scenes or have YC train HY and HY being a better FL lol

But YC is adopted and it would make sense for him to work for China rather than Japan and in the flashbacks, wasn’t his mom a communist so his adopted father killed her? But I do agree that I feel like YC could’ve been more spy like lol like why is he letting his brother do everything. It also angered me how YC could find out backgrounds about almost everyone but Chi Cheng like it’s so obvious they’re on the same boat. I also felt bad for Miyamoto lol esp when junko and YC had him running all around town. I’m too far in the drama and I like the leads so I’ll continue watching but there’s a lot of wtf moments

At least there was Japanese in the drama bc I’ve seen some dramas like this and the Japanese all spoke Chinese lol

I’ve seen a lot of people not liking the story for how simple it is but I actually like how simple it is and I like how problems are resolved quickly like Leo’s identity and Yukee training for a year

For real! If he doesn’t get a happy ending in this drama as lead I’m gonna cry lol

Bruh THANK YOU! Her storyline is so bland and her personality is so bland like the second lead actress should’ve been the focus of the plot. I’m so annoyed at the FL.

I actually like her blank stares I find it cute lol but I do agree she does that so often and I want to see if her character progresses will she stop the blank stares lol?

I think that if they recast XZ then of course they're gonna give him more screentime bc he's so popular rn but I don't think his character should die since it would be interesting watching how his character would interact w/ Fan Xian and his love interest

I was freaking confused about that too but it’s pretty much an open ending lol I would like to believe he came back but historically China is going to be dealing with the opium war so idk if he would come back during that chaos
