So after my first post I read the novel (and I'm still reading it) and I kinda get why this series got banned. I think the story stopped right on time, it gets totally insane and brutal. I wonder which parts of they novel they actually filmed and what they were actually planning on airing 😭so far the webserie was very true to the novel so if they were planning on airing THOSE parts (novel spoiler below) than YEAH I GET WHY THEY CANCELED THIS

Edit: I finished both novels after typing this and they were the best things I ever read. Gu Hai and Bai Luo Yin's story is so romantic, beautiful, amazing, lovely, funny, sad, heartbreaking, and beautiful again :)

Does this have romance or is it mostly comedy, misunderstandings and the romance only happens in the end?

I want to watch this because the director of MODC worked on it but it also makes me scared

To be honest, I was warned about the last episode so I decided not to watch it and stopped at episode 9. But I read a summary of what happened, and ended up crying for days because just closing my eyes to it doesn't mean it didn't happen, even if it's fiction.

Afterwards, I read the alternative novel ending and watched the cameo of Yu Xi Gu and Haoting in Senjou No Bokura (where they look at the Aurora Borealis) which does have a happy ending for them so it helped me to heal a little bit :')

But I don't think I can watch Wayne's guest appearance, because I can't bear seeing him without Yu Xi Gu beside him :( and since I stopped at episode 9 i will take that as my only true ending. I'm sad because I would love to see Haoting/Wayne again. And I do want to watch Be Loved In The House at one point ahha.

If you can recommend me any fluffy dramas, please do it!!! I can use the serotonin :)

That´s what I think after each BL drama lmao but each show has their own unnique flavor so don´t worry you will like another show for another reason again ^^ i do think cherry maho is still one of my favorites

Thank you :(((( I wish it was an exaggeration but it's not, i've been so down in the dumps all week after watching both in the same week. I hoped Bad Buddy would heal my broken heart from the ending of MODC but now i'm even more depressed. My friends told me to touch some grass so we're gonna meet up tomorrow to try and help me get my mind off the two shows XD
