Jeff Satur (Kim) has a Paris fanmeeting on July 9 , who's going? I just bought my ticket after seeing this episode. I want to hear his angelic voice and see a KP cast member, and I really like Kim so far~
So what I'm guessing is that they didn't follow the novel? What were the changes? Someone tell me
- in the novel, kinn rapes porsche while he's intoxicated from the drug because porsche is horny (from the drug), but like, it's really bad, porsche is actually traumatized by it for a while and his ass even bleeds - in the novel, porsche is not this open minded about gays, so i liked that they added that scene with him and big, in which he says the world is more progressed now
This episode has some fucked up shit tbh. I’m slightly confused.
Dear, you can't ignore all the warning signs and then complain it's fucked up, you're literally watching a show about mafia, based on a novel with fucked up themes, and it's gonna get more crazy from now on
This was the BEST episode so far! The directing, post-production, music, editing, composition, acting, everything was on point. The series kept all the important scenes from the novel but made really good changes to certain scenes, all with respect to the original source material. Seriously, who directed this episode? Who did the editing, post-production, sound direction and BGM. Were those the same people as the earlier episodes? Obviously, I loved all episodes, but I really think this is the best episode so far production-wise.
The beautiful scene between Kinn and Porsche took my breath away. I watched it with my hand to my mouth because the emotions I felt were so strong, and the scene was so beautiful. It's only EP4 and my breath is already taken away.
And can we talk about Vegas? His entrance, but pretty much every scene with Vegas in this episode, the BGM and the tension whenever he's on screen, everything about him is a red flag. All I can think of when I see him is 'please step on me', 'please choke me', 'please push me against a wall and have your way with me', but also 'he's so god damn dangerous'.... it's insane. I don't think anyone else would have been able to show this Vegas to us except for Bible. His acting is phenomenal.
Also, the tone and mood of this episode felt less goofy, more serious, as if we're going into darker territories now. The ending with Vegas was so scary, I actually am getting really scared for Pete right now. Us novel readers know the unspeakable things Vegas will do to Pete but only just now did the realization hit me that it's gonna be super intense and we're gonna go through the whole thing of hating Vegas and fearing for Pete all over again, but this time we're gonna see it soon on screen, moving, in flesh, with the actors, and that's a lot to take in (but I'm so ready for it).
i am so bored so let's discuss about the scenes you want to see in the series. leave pool scene out of this ik…
pete's breakdown scene and vegas finally releasing him, telling pete he loves him and begs him to stay with him just for pete to smack his head with the chain lol i really wanna see the acting
If there really are 2 seasons and if they can't fit all of VegasPete in 14 episodes, I'd prefer if they take 2 seasons to tell their complete story, instead of cutting scenes and rushing it to fit everything into 14 episodes (even less since their story hasn't even started yet). I don't mind waiting AGAIN if it means their story isn't rushed. Cause I'm worried if it starts at episode 6/7/8 they will not have enough time for their side story and I don't want them to rush the development, it's so important to see the gradual change in Vegas (and Pete). I know it's just 10 chapters but there's still 5 special chapters too and they have to share screen time with others couples so I'm a little worried ^^
I think this is the climax of the 'comedy', after this we're getting into dark territories...next episode is the drugging scene, Vegas will start appearing more often and in a few episodes VegasPete will start....enjoy Pete's smile while you still can :) Also, there is still the mystery around Porsche's parents. I like that they start off with a comedy approach, so it will take us by surprise and hurt more later. Although Tankhun and some moments between couples like VegasPete later will probably still be funny and comedic if they keep those parts of the novel.
Honestly, the first half of episode three made me question why I was watching this in the first place... that's…
I actually liked EP2 the most, then EP3. Can I ask why it was boring? I laughed so hard at Tankhun, even though he's very cringy sometimes lmao. And can I also ask why you can't connect with anyone but Porsche?
