Once again, most viewers are unsatisfied with the writing of Part 2. It does not matter if it was GYJ playing Naksu in Part 2 or another actress. Viewers will still have a problem with it. The writing and directing were not up to par with Part 1. Please stop " beating a dead horse", pardon the pun, about viewers finding fault with ONLY Part 2 lead actress depiction of Naksu.
You can like who you like, but please focus on the main issue and not your bias.

I think people state S2 FL was a damsel in distress and had to be saved all the time, because she was.
Viewers can understand S1 FL needing to be saved because she did not have her Naksu powers back yet. Once she had those powers back she used them ( while in control or not) and did not take a back seat to anyone else who had similar or greater powers. She contributed where she could. Mudeok ( Naksu) was written as sly, calculating, scheming, and courageous but physically weak. She was able to get things done just with her scheming.
S2 Naksu did not use her powers to the fullest extent once she understood and realized she had them. She STILL needed to be saved or she let others do the fighting.
The writers did not do her justice in S2 and THAT is why some viewers state she was a damsel in distress in S2. Shame on the writers.
I get not wanting to be " reminded' of who you were, but come on, don't have her be a "delicate" lady. That boat sailed a long time ago and you cannot turn back time, no matter your wish.

I actually think AOS Part 1 actress looks very young. She is not old at all. If people did not know the actress's real age they would think she was Uk, Yool, etc age. She also sometimes looks younger than them in the drama too. Much better than some actress who plays the FL lead with a younger ML and she looks much older than him. For example, Oath Of love. I just could not continue watching the Oath Of Love drama because of that and other reasons.

I do not know what they were trying to show with Uk/Naksu. Basically, I still take it as he moved on and fell in love with someone new. Nothing wrong with that. Yes, we know it is Naksu soul in the body of Buyeon/Jin Seol/Mudeok. But the personality and actions is VERY different (80%) from the person he originally fell in love with. Even when she got her memories back. Also new face.
Juts say it like it is. He moved on with the bonus of SURPRISE Naksu was in the body all along. It would have been a great twist if JinSeol went into another body and took the face of Mudeok since she developed from a child with that face. Master Lee can do some mumble jumbo or hand waving to explain that and convince people she will not go crazy again. Then we have both Naksu and Mudeok in the same time space. Mudeok with the SAME personality as in Season 1, some " magic" powers and NO memory of Uk. Naksu will stay with her new softer personality and with Buyeon powers. It would be entertaining to see UK trying to determine who he really fell in love with andhis confusion when he has them both around. CP will also be confused. EVERYONE will be confused. LOL
I would then say Mudeok can go with Yul to his other home and they can be happy doing whatever . That would have been entertaining.

Viewers keep saying Part 2 had more chemistry between Naksu/UK. Well sure, because they focused and had LOTS of romantic scenes. Who wouldn't bring the flirtiness/hotness etc to a scene when it is called for? I would hope a good actor will be able to do that.
Part 1 did not focus on that. It focused more on Uk getting his training.,Naksu getting her power back and not being found out, and other interesting parts of the story. Part 1 was 5- 10% romance and Part 2 was 60-70% romantic scenes.
I am just disappointed that they did not have Naksu STILL want to keep the skills she learned as an assassin. Does she have to go out there and kill willy, nilly? NO, but at least have those skills as a backup if she ever loses the divine powers like before. They could have had her say " Umm let me think about it".

He was justified. She was annoying and a stalker. She could not bow out gracefully and kept bothering him.

The ML was not bad. I like his intensity/love for the FL but not the stalker vibes.
The FL , I was not feeling it. They could have gotten a different FL because I did not feel the chemistry and her acting in love I did not feel.
Is she supposed to be in her 30s and had all these many boyfriends? At least the ML is making an effort in the kissing scenes.

Falling Into You noona drama had MUCH better ML/FL chemistry and kissing. The FL was little too obsessed with winning " and the ML did most of the showing love but I bought that she really loved him, but found it difficult to show it.
This drama, not so much.

I think that even if you want to forget certain "experiences", lifestyle or traits that you developed over the years, it is impossible to do a COMPLETE 360 in a short period of time. That takes years, if ever.
For instance, If a person has been abused, been taught fighting skills, forced to starve themselves, or developed a certain type of protective attitude over the years do you really think they will think one day " Oh, I am safe now, I do not have to worry/ do that anymore so I will develop this pure, fresh, innocent, take care of me personality" and change in an instant?.
Especially when they remembered it all. You cannot erase the development ( whether good or bad) in a flash like that.
I know this is a fantasy drama but come on. Naksu should have shown (periodically) the mental/physical CONTROL she had to exert on her action/snarkiness when she is confronted with something not right. We have to see that she is not some doll that was " reprogrammed".

Hahaha. We are totally different then. I don't mind this new female doing all the " Naksu" fighting moves BUT when it comes to the romance with UK, I prefer the same JSM female.
It would seem like he has a new love interest with the new female even if it is the same " character or soul" inside a new body.
I am used to the movements, interactions, facial expressions, funny moments that JSM did in Part 1.
You can't recreate that in a new person.
Oh well, I guess we like different things in dramas.

I for one got used to the " face" body and chemistry of JSM as Naksu/Mudok/Buyon. Plus her chemistry with Uk, Se Yoel and the others was great. So I am totally invested in those interactions .
It is VERY difficult to get invested in a new Fl for the ML (even if same character in a new body) because you still have to have the same or better chemistry between all those other characters in the drama.
I would not have a problem if JSM was not great in the role or just okay BUT she was excellent to me. I am all about action/fighting but if the leads do not have chemistry or have believable love for each other, it loses the luster.
Oh well, I hope the writers gives us a great surprise in Part 2. I have my thoughts of how they could have satisfied both JSM fans and the pure Naksu fans but I am not writing this thing. It is a done deal. LOL
I would not send angry messages/threaten or spam anyone though. That is not right.
