Saw this drama and it was Meh, in my opinion. I only enjoyed the ML handsomeness. The storyline was not interesting, and the way it was presented. I need to go back and rewatch Are You Human Too, in which I enjoyed all aspects, including this ML.

Am I the only one who thought this was underwhelming? It seemed like it was too serious, hardly any laughs. or exciting stuff Everyone and everything was soo toned down and serious. Plus the back stories and new side characters was not interesting or was not made interesting. CGI was great though. Is this how it is in the comics? When I start becoming bored/fast forward scenes then I know something is wrong. Oh well, loved Season 1.

I liked this one on the first watch. The second watch i liked it even more. They have great chemistry. Ting Zhou and Shuang Xu always bring the chemistry when they act together. Their kiss scenes are great too.

This was on YT , but it has been taken down. I cannot find it anywhere. I am disappointed.

Yeah, she is obsessed with finding out who killed her sister BUT she does not have a plan or any backup if things go wrong. I guess she didn't learn her lesson when she was "kidnapped" in the beginning of the drama.

Yep , he puts his all in the kissing scenes, tongue and all in that one scene. Hahahha. The FL is matching him too. The ML makes his kisses look realistic and shows he is attracted/like the FL

Ha, yeah she is not an idol. Well, if she plans on continuing to act and be successful, then she has to work on her kisses. She will never be a main female lead with that type of kiss. I hope she has gotten better since this drama and has become more comfortable. I even heard the FL in "Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale" drama was a so-so kisser with her male leads but she has improved with our guy here. I sometimes think actresses are more comfortable with certain actors or if they were friends before they are more willing to go that extra mile in a kiss if they are new to kissing scenes.

That is why when I saw him act with this FL, I was like " What is that?". Even before his recent drama came out, I knew he can kiss correctly. The FL is just stiff and looked awkward in any intimate scene. Needed a more seasoned actress or just a female actress/idol who is not afraid to show emotion or kiss properly

You are so right. She is pretty but her acting is stiff and the kisses with ML in her " real persona" or when she was acting in that drama scene on set was weird and barely touched lips. I know the ML can kiss correctly but he doesn't have anything to work with. I doubt it was directors' instruction to make it as awkward as it looked. They are supposed to be over 18 years old and they kiss like preschoolers. Idols are not that sheltered where they do not know the mechanics of kissing especially when you like someone. Sheesh.

I understand the two guys were considered "family" BUT when the gangster said he has a friend in SK, it gave me the vibe he never had a friend before. Someone he can share deep thoughts with, even as an adult.

For me it made sense that the real YH did not want to return. He just wanted the explanations, closure and a " I'm sorry , I am your friend" from SJ. YH was " tired". He wanted rest. He has spent most of his life being ignored, friendless, severely bullied and not loved by anyone, it seemed like. I don't know how close he was to SJ even before his suicide but they sure didn't hang out. Plus YH still would have the same personality and timidness as he had before, Very timid and quiet. He does not have the emotional, psychologicalor physically strength to step into the shoes left by the gangster. Or any "shoes". It would take him years, if ever, to have even close to a healthy mindset. He would need therapy. My opinion. The gangster just wanted to finish school, finally get a true friend and live his life. His two gangster buddies seem more like friendly coworkers than friends who he can share deep thoughts with. So the end was a good tradeoff, in my opinion.

If this is the actor's payment for working in the film, then it is ridiculous they have not been paid yet. There should be a stipulation in contracts of halfway through filming the total episodes of a drama, I get paid my salary. Once I film the last half of the drama, I get the rest. It is up to the company to have that money readily available instead of waiting to see how much money the film makes before paying out. The same process goes for those working behind the scenes.

I must admit that was very poetic what you wrote, " ......the one who had the desire to live, will live and the one who was exhausted from this life, will rest". Well said and a great ending to their story.

Eh, I still never saw this true romantic "love" she had for him. Admiration like you said, wanting to save him, wanting him to be alive and be the success he became because he saved her when she needed it most. I only see that from her side. Lots of time she was portrayed as just confusing even to the ML, even though as you said she was trying to prevent confusion or hurt feelings when she returned to the present. Why did he still obsess about her in the present? She looked for clues about the culprit, had her ex somewhat look out for ML, got the police involved eventually etc. Yes. I am confused what other sacrifices she did? I am still flabbergasted on where the ML got his obsession from either. LOL, these writers.

That is a very poetic sentence, " The Hymn Of Death". I like " The Hymm Of Death" better. It makes you think. Irrelevant to this drama but just a side note I thought about.

1) Why did they have the ML so obsessed with the FL? It was just strange that such a cute/attractive guy did not have girls crushing on him during his teenage years. Plus he was still obsessing about the FL in the preset time and never dated/liked anyone else?
Come on.
FL also gave ML whiplash with her " interest". during teenage/college years. Even if you are going back to your time frame at least let the ML know you like him but if you change in a while then you have "memory issues, do not confront me and it will sort itself out". At least then the ML does not have whiplash and has a somewhat weird explanation when she goes back to her present timeframe. I think he seems used to her being weird anyway.

Why are the English subtitles so delayed on HULU? So frustrating. The scene has advanced significantly but the dialogue is behind. I could not make it even halfway through Ep 1 before stopping. Ruined my enjoyment. I will wait until they get better and timely subtitles.

Yeap very good. Part 1 storyline was better than Part 2 but they were both great. The female lead in Part 1, I cannot picture her in any romance drama, especially with the same guy who she killed in Part 1.

I'll check it out.
