it wasn't that scary but it was thrilling enough to keep me close my eyes to avoid jumpscares at some scenes that didn't even make me jump tbh. i like how graphic and explicit the murder scenes. and i obviously like the cinematography, as expected from japanese series. but the ending was meh.
i'm so glad i came across this one. i rarely watch jp movies but this kept me entertained, laughing, and also found myself tearing up bc of the music they listened to. so many references i loved! i never thought i'd seen tao and shotaro together. i hope they'll have future projects together!!
I've given this another chance and finally, I finished it. Although at some point, I felt like skipping the speech parts, it really ended well and was worth it. Sudo-kun is my favorite character development honestly. And the ending is cute.
it took me time to get myself into it, but i'm glad i gave it a try for nth time. it wasn't my kind of detective drama, and has its flaws but it was worth the watch.
i've been hesitant to watch this since last year, but i gave it another chance and i wasn't disappointed. i know some people are asking if there is romance here of some sort, but i think the love story here is much more than romance c: y'all should give this a try
it was a very uncomfortable for me especially i have never watched a drama with such intense and explicit scenes and it involves rape and bdsm and suicide, i usually just read them... but strangely i couldn't keep my eyes off the screen and kept watching it. I haven't read the manga so i couldn't judge if it's good or bad adaptation. And i can't even tell if i liked it or not. Idk this one is really confusing. It makes me question myself for real.
So He's not schizophrenic ?? He has DID ? I'm not a psychology student but I understand the terms you mentioned…
yes, although it wasn't clear in the series. he's manifesting DID symptoms but i overlooked it because of the dr. chen lol. and the other personality at the end is also a sign and that time he watched himself sleepwalk while eating apple. it seems the other personality likes green apple bue li jia doesn't. i guess he has multiple personality so yeah, he's not schizophrenic.
even i overlooked the symptoms for DID because i focused on the schizophrenic symptoms, which he barely manifested so i even thought he was normal but under alot of pressure and distress... aaaaaa this drama is so goooood. Idc about the negative comments about the drama and the actors. as a drama enthusiast, maybe it's lacking at some point and still has potentials, but as a psychology student, it's a good watch and made me realize how important it is to pay attention to the symptoms and do not jump on the conclusions. The illness of the mind is really difficult to diagnose because there are still alot we didn't know.
this is the second chinese drama i loved, first is Medical Examiner Dr. Qin, and Li Xian is a lead in both! I really like how funny, serious, dark, and creepy this drama is. A lot of people seem to dislike Gu Ying, but I like her as she is, maybe she's just too attached and clingy to De You, but you'll know the reason why through out the drama. I love her and Lanlan, both of them are strong and independent and they know what they want. Anyway, aside from them, I actually like the bromance between De You and Ding Mao. I'd ship them instead. It's a 9.5/10 for me. I'm seeing through the second season because I'm so hooked.
*Don't watch the second season right away if you can't handle the change of cast for De You. It took me few episode to feel KJ as the new De You, but all in all, it's good!!!!*
