ML and his mom story was heartbreaking, i wish the same punch was packed on FL side story .
The story fails to engage on the second half. Not sure why the FL caught up in that gun shooting gambling and debts that she couldnt pay that she had to steal from a homeless guy .
The chemistry also a little bit off that i get she might feel pity on him , not sure what made her to fall in love with him, The reason or the emotion she felt towards him wasnt that clear.
Anyways what should have been a great one , with lackluster screenplay end up an average watch.

Scenes are not interesting at all , forcing myself to watch this . Got boring quick , dropping it at episode 5.

Fantastic first episode , then story was engaging till episode 6, after that bearable till ep8, After that its all a constant skipping forward till finish .
EP16 is where they reveal the reason and that was neither emotional nor believable .
There was no chemistry between the leads at all . I mean she looks at him intently throughout the series but i can't feel any feelings .
The FL looks pretty but something feels off about her face like me involuntarily thinking whether its plastic surgery or something.
The only salvageable thing out of this drama was the cinematography . The way they composed the shots and lighting is superb and it stood out in most of the scenes .
Other than that , this is like a 8 episode drama stretched out to 16 made it watered down and boring in the end.

so he faked his death and went to kill that Bale guy !! all the while leaving her to unassuming wolf of a guy who went to school with her who could easily kill her ? besides army of trained assassins and contract killers spawning like a bees ?
other than showing the current advanced techie weapons, The single place setting and repetitive actions turned out boring.
If the show made me feel as a whole of what the EPISODE 2 did and that child Jung ji ahn did to survive if it had translated to this adult jung ji ahn character , This is would have been awesome.

Good Points, felt the same, she has not engaged as not even 10 percent of the portrayal of her child actress did , who was phenomenal in acting.

On Episode 3 now, Just wanted to say it. The child actress did a phenomenal job of living that character while being adorable and so much likable , However i find the teenage girl character so annoying asking too many irritating questions , i dont find her interesting nor likable so far. It looks like pretty much her life was put through survival mode by her uncle since young age, teaching her mountain camping, gun shooting etc; yet she seem surprised at every turn like why a bullet proof wardrobe , wow is he a gun merchant etc;
lets see if she can be redeemable when i watch the whole.
PS: Part of me who couldnt fully root for her might be because of her vile, disgusting role from Kingdom i think .

Great, i only saw first 4 episodes at the time of release and put of hold till it finishes, based on your answer, i will try to watch it

was that evil assistant of her ever served with justice or not ? of how she slandered and ruined the reputations of the FL ?

Gripping story , but when the killer is revealed , you cant believe that person could have pulled of those kills like an assassin level skill.
It feels like the writers showed the mom and the son as abnormal people as they have mental issues in the way they behaved because of the incest theme.
The captain and the ML dynamics on the guilt was not really doing anything to story and feels totally unnecessary.
Up until episode 5 i thought the twist will be like the FL was the one orchestrated everything and evil mastermind, Because of the way she acted too innocent kinda felt off putting and i got fooled.
As most people say, this could have been a movie.

//OMG, What a fantastic drama, Gripping thriller till the end. This unapologetic , brave, bold and so refresh in its storytelling.
I have not seen in a korean drama in a long time. It does not pull any punches, sometimes it made me wonder whether the charecters were dreaming those events like in cliche dramas and then they wake up to reality , No NO thats not the case at all, every turn it surprises in the first half. The second half also it took of a different tangent and could be a whole show on its own i loved that part as well.
I rarely say this and i am saying it for this one, This should have been a solid 16 episode drama.
What a ride this was, anyone whos is waveveing to watch this i assure you , you are in a for a surprise.
I loved every bit of it. Only thing i am dumbfounded about is why in the hell the rating is this low on this one ? This is solid 10 in my book//
