First of all, if you like the main couple- Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon, thatโs already a good enough reason…
No Doubt, K-Dramas are expert in that genre, Most of my Lockdown days it was my comfort therapy . I am sure if you dig deep enough , there are lot more hidden gems you can find. ๐๐
Completed Watching it. This was okayish , Had humor and some good stunts . The chasing becomes tiresome after Episode 5. It felt the later half was completely indulged too much on spy mission that it diverged from what i enjoyed watching in the beginning that gave me thrill , the dad's violent and desperate pursuit for a daughter . The daughter also lacks character and depth and convincing emotional bond for me to root for.
Fair point, but honestly with films like this โ especially the ones adapted from webtoons or novels โ you…
I am not questioning a guy getting hit with 20 tranquilizer shots and still making funny remarks about it didnt bothered him. Comedy or actions are not questioned , when the whole show was built on a premise and entire pursuit and debacle hinges on one pivotal event and that was not addressed, causing audience like me constantly thinking about it has ruined the experience of the entire show. Its not too much to ask and not too easy easy for anyone to ignore and shouldnt have been for the writers.
I am still at EP:7 , but had to come here and vent , The most illogical thing i couldnt sit through is the fact , A girl whose head has been smashed with a brick and had half of her body blood lost, after few episodes she woke up in a frozen chamber, ever since this whole head smashing incident is being treated as if she had stubbed her toe in a furniture !!! No one bothered to take her to hospital who is suppose to be in ICU , but get handed off like a relay stick and not even her father or the special govt agency who had briefly had not bother to get her medical help ?
All the while i am writing in my bed unable to sit comfortably , constantly caught up in anxiety, I mean, what do these writers of the show thinking ? They could just used that as plot device alone and can get away with it . Its makes the entire premise and show ridiculous for me honestly.
Its a razor thin premise with very little substance to have engaging screenplay, Pretty much feels like "power rangers" , "He man" theme , going into other worlds and fighting spirits and coming back after conquering and doing it over and over again becomes boring. The twists one could see a mile away, given a king who ascend to throne that is not a legal or rightful heir. Its easily skippable , if anyone seen The Haunted palace or any of the hundreds of the Sageuk dramas that exists. 7.5/10
Template formulaic screenplay , Plot is contrived and artificial and was not engaging most of the time. Characters lack depth and i was hard time connecting with any of the cast. This is tiresome that doesnt reward you with anything at the end. The villain is so weak , i was bewildered watching why everyone has to revere him , none of his action commanded such respect or power, who seamed easily replaceable . Felt like the entire show they never smuggled anything instead trying to resolve the issues for transporting drugs with king pins and to think for this inept drug cartel is why the entire undercover operation is conducted sounds ridiculous , rather a simple cop could have busted these street thugs kind vibe. Worst of all , the most disappointing is the title "The word Evil" had established association with one of the best dramas , and to think insane MDL rating and this title , i thought i was in for ride , only to discover peeking at neighbors quarrels through window would be more entertaining than watching this. 7/10.
are you exaggerating for effect or did you really watch it 8 times ? thats 16 episodes times 8 =128 hours ? for…
My intention is not to discount that some genre are not rewatchable , Merely to understand the veracity of the claim 8 times , seems exaggeration to get the readers to watch it ,As in this day and age , watching same drama twice seems a biggest tribute one could pay for it , Given the plethora of dramas that are coming out . P.S: still havent watched this one, Will find out how good it is soon.
Incoherence is the best word to describe this movie, Waiting for it to make sense and saw the title card rolled. I was like, for this 100K people rated it close to 8.0 in imdb ? damn , Its a complete mess and neither engaging , nor emotional . Waste of time is what this is.
After second watch in two years or so:The Wailing is magnificent, but also confusing af, seemingly deliberately…

Thanks for dropping that drama name "Sandglass" , The Lead actress who's recent drama i notice her fascinating…
You are a true example of "if we love what we do , then it doesn't feel work" . I can't even do one thing consistent for even a year. 8 years you have been immersed in this project is really uplifting and inspiring to hear, despite whether it comes to fruition or not , this itself a great achievement. The journey is the destination. ๐๐๐
This is the only drama the Fl is likable for me compare to everyother drama i had to drop because of her acting . This is quirky , fun and adorable , except the ending episodes have gotten boring. Otherwise a good watch and wise decision to make it a 8 episode series.

Thanks for the explanation . I applaud and admire the passion you have towards "W two worlds" season 2. I can't imagine the amount of man hours you investing in this , which takes beyond sheer passion a great commitment is needed.
I watched it like 5 years ago , well two third of the story swoop me in and enjoyed a lot , towards the ending episodes, it kinda become convoluted for me . I still hold it in high regards because its my favorite theme , genre and actors and plan to watch in some special occasion .
Anyways, Your dedication is astonishing , keep at it. Cheers !!!
She said at one point "I've never looked up at anyone in my life" but was a palace maid at one point so…
Right when she started in palace and had seniors giving her hazing , the one eyed prince always had her back like savior and she looked up to him in some some capacity as guardian or good human being atleast . So its not like she had been tormented by everyone around her that changed her personality .
I am hoping we get to see more of her old times which elucidate more on the story and her personality as she claims she had developed a knack for picking out danger around her.
Despite all these , she lacks being humble and lacks empathy towards grandma (she is conflicted whether to care for her in the beginning encounter) and being cutthroat in most situations were not the signs of someone who started with humble beginnings.
I get that those traits that she has is what drives the plot forward interestingly .
Anyways, The best ever depiction of historical person dropped in current time and how clueless and adorable their actions and reactions were captured endearingly in "Durian's Affair" which is what my mind keeps comparing it to and i know i shouldnt do that.
She lived as status holder concubine for years too . i guess thats where this attitude comes from
thats lowkey worser that you become corrupt with personality when bestowed with power and little hard to cheer when realised they abandon the root and become someother person because of power. i am not complaining, its just it kinda irks me if they justified her behaviour with little more backstory in the beginning, its would be been easy to relate and to cheer on , regardless i am enjoying the show so far , its way better than so much overhyped stuff that even crossed 9.x in mdl in recent years
