Its understandable that as we are attracted to opposite sex . For me Female Lead is the whole reason i watched Angel Eyes , she was phenomenal in it.

Although i can't remember vividly about Boys over flowers , i definitely loved her role in it as well. Sadly Blood *(2015) is the show where i couldnt tolerate her role and whole show was boring anyways.


Come and Hug Me (2018) is one of the shows comes to mind with similar theme of Leads could never be together circumstance. Where the actors played young leads were fantastic.

Yes, I would say so PaoPao, The stakes weren't really high interms of facing formidable villains and the mystery of whos is out to kill the prince etc; as the reveal did not match up to the mystery they build. If you just watch the glimpses they play at the end of each episode for the leading next episode is more than enough to get the gist of it.
Or you could just watch some random few episodes inbetween that should do it.

Pretty Good first half , 6,7,8 episodes got draggy and not that interesting. The last scene when his friend woken up from hospital has gotten all emotional . As many pointed out , stakes and emotional connect is not as brilliant as the first season , Still worth a watch.

climax is not that great, and FL almost feels like she is trying too much like a girl who is in love with a guy. attempting him avoid decided fate. Otherwise its a good gripping thriller. Son yeo jin the epitome of beauty

Story is great, Time travel felt kinda executed in a way that did not excite most of the time, but it made way for interesting twists.
One major let down for me, is that the ML character doesnt have a good chemistry with the female lead.
Felt second half went way faster and without lag than the first half.
climax scene confused me as to how he figured where his brother and went to rescue him is left to our intuition.
Does it mean that the loop wont start again , so his fate of what happened to him in 1993 wont happen ? Left me puzzled with those questions.

Live up to your name - is one of the best ever in time travel theme , absolutely satisfying watch that one. Such a crime that they had to come with this underwhelming title name, might not evoke interest to most people reading the title. This is a Gem that need to be treasured . True to its Genre and done right with screenplay , storyline, acting cast in everyother way , its so praiseworthy.

Beginning and endings episodes were good , but the mid ones got draggy and really boring , mostly fillers between 8 to 16 , they could have made it a 12 EP series.
Chemistry between the leads completely lacking interms of having feelings of love for each other , but can get the sense that they cared for each other and throughout it seemed plutonic.
Thinking whether it could have turned more romantic had they casted different Leads ,
If you had already watched the top lists of dramas from the historical themes , this might feel underwhelming to some and almost FL acting as a Enoch already there was great drama exist with same theme.
Anyways , its a harmless watch . i give it a 7.5/10.

I dont recall any chinese drama that i was able to connect emotionally for the attempts that i made to watch in the past. i feel like its a lost cause, but still , would like to give it a chance.

Got boring after 8 episodes, there no proper payoff or emotional connect with characters, love portions also doesnt feel that great.

It was great , the story was engaging and screenplay was tight, although it felt a little dragging at the end. Also too many villains hard to keep up . The major gripe was although she acted well and loved her acting in "The glory" , it kinda felt this role is not for the Female lead.
Anyways when it comes to historical dramas , it pretty much on par with all the great ones with respect to twists and turns. 9/10

First 6 episodes were good , The kid's mom missing case was around 4 episodes turned out gripping , then comes that drug racket case , which was bearable till around 6 eps , then that gaslighting case was so not interesting to watch , i was constanting skipping fast forwarding and finally decided to drop at EP 10.
