I just finished watching episode 4. I genuinely want to know what phones they have. It seemed like they were talking…
I had a few super long calls with friends in the past and I always simply charged my phone during the phonecall when needed. I imagine that's what they did even if it wasn't shown 😅.
Lykn boys are all doing such a good job acting, like wow Nut really embodied Jun's character! He seems to be one…
I don't know Lykn that much yet but I noticed this with William. At first, I couldn't believe that he's just 19 since Thame comes across as much older because of how mature and calm his character is but when you see William being himself (laughing, being playful and chaotic), that's when you can clearly see he's still a teenager😅. They all did such a great job, it's hard to believe these are their first roles.
I really love the point this show makes about love. Compared to other shows aired before thamepo, their romantic…
I think what makes those ordinary scenes so special is that they are so heartfelt and so full of acceptance and unrestrained love in a way you don't see very often anymore, whether in dramas or real life. It’s the looks, the smiles, and those effortlessly romantic lines like “I want to adjust myself to your rhythm” that turn those ordinary moments into something extraordinary.
didnt thame hug po on the street when thame is trying to figure out his feelings? would that not cause any issues…
To me, the fact that Thame isn’t wearing a mask (which we saw him use in earlier episodes when in public) during the hug and walking scenes, and that he’s not maintaining the 5-meter distance he was told to, feels like a representation of how free he feels around Po. It’s as if being with Po makes him forget or stop caring about being cautious. When they’re together, they’re in their own little world, ejoying the normalcy like any other couples would, ignoring everything else because they’re falling in love. But I have a feeling this is something that’s going to come back to bite them later 😖.
I'm not afraid to admit I cried while watching this. It's just so genuine. Loving someone and their company so…
I feel the same. I rarely cry while watching series/movies but this one made me cry too. It fills me with so many different emotions, some of which I haven't felt for a long time. It's truly a masterpiece.
The lyrics to the song that was playing at the start of their walk seem quite fitting (though we only heard the melody). The song opens with the lines: "A significant light just where it was needed, Gleamed in blackest night."
I think that’s actually a perfect description of what they mean to each other – lighting up each other’s lives when things felt dark. For those curious, it's "April Sky" by Ten Towers ☺️
I seriously love the last scene so much. It feels so real and raw. I love how red Willy’s face gets during this…
The moment they started to chase each other laughing under the streelamps with that music playing was so incredibly magical, and it just kept on going from there🥺
Anyone who has ever been a Kpop fan (or any other idol group fan) knows that this is not unrealistic at all. Like…
Oh, then I get you 😅. Yeah, this is actually very realistic in that environment and sadly not even as bad as some real life stuff. It would blow your mind, lol. A lot of these music companies in countries like Korea and some others are known to be extremely toxic and have incredibly exploitative contracts (some of them are known as "slave contracts", there is also a wiki page dedicated to them, they are that common, lol) . I guess those of us who are familiar with groups like this are not the least bit surprised by what we're seeing in ThamePo 🤣
The last part was so incredibly wholesome and beautiful, it left me speechless for a while, and it seriously brough tears to my eyes. Not being able to part, just wanting to be together, Thame encouraging Po to be himself and walk at his own pace... God, they are in love and I am in love with them ❤️
i saw cute gifs on tumblr so i started watching this but the first couple of eps are so weird. what kind of company…
Anyone who has ever been a Kpop fan (or any other idol group fan) knows that this is not unrealistic at all. Like the person above me said, stuff like this happens all the time (and worse). Also, the company/CEO is the antagonist of the story, so of course she's handling things wrong and unfairly.
It's such a small thing, but I love how the characters in this series actually reuse outfits and clothes. It makes the characters feel more real and adds such a "human" touch to the series, because that's what people actually do in real life. I haven't seen many other dramas do this (unless it's school uniforms).
Honestly I am an older viewer. I knew nothing about the actors or the band members, actually I had a preconceived…
I think this is probably the case for most viewers. A lot of us didn’t know much or anything about who they were (maybe some recognized William from The Last Twilight OST). We love the series simply because it’s a genuinely great story with amazing production.
I remember seeing the pilot trailer last year without knowing who they were (and I loved that they were new faces). And right away, the production, cinematography, and their chemistry stood out as something really special and beautiful to me. That’s what made me decide to watch it, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint 👏
people are kinda toxic in replies, if someone didn't like it, let him/her express.. lmao
Have you read all this person's comments under the original post? They're clearly being a rude troll. A few days ago, someone politely shared that they didn’t like this drama that much, and the discussion remained respectful. The issue is when people call something "garbage" or "trash," accuse others of lying about enjoying it, and intentionally stir up conflict - that's when reactions understandably become less kind.
