I think they did find something in the laptop, they just didn't show us yet. When they were lying in bed together…
Yeah, basically the whole town seems to be a mess, haha. And I pray that Oat is innocent because it'd break my heart, but I started to suspect him too recently, he seems to be too innocent and I fear they would love to shock us like that, lol. But I hope not :)

Yeah, she's actually one of the top suspects in my opinion! She's always been suspicious but l became sure she's part of it when they showed the congressman going to her spa/massage place. I suspect she might be involved in that dirty business in some major way. Her and also Inspector Gun (inspector M's shorthaired colleague) - I'm almost sure he's the masked man who killed the journalist, attacked Tan and almost killed Sorawit, based on his eyes/eyebrows and the voice.
So these two for sure I think, the rest I'm very confused about. I'm scared to trust anyone at this point, haha.

Yes, my first reaction during that scene was to shout "why don't you take off his mask!!" Lol, but like you said, it was not the right time to reveal who the person is, so I think that's why they made Tan drunk during the fight because otherwise he'd have defended himself and caught him no problem. And yes, alcohol makes some people violent but it can also make them more meek and generally impair their thinking so I think they went with the second option here to keep the identity of the intruder hidden for a bit longer :)

Finally caught up to ep 7 and 8. Pretty good tbh. Very interesting build up to the makeout session. Getting away…
I think they did find something in the laptop, they just didn't show us yet. When they were lying in bed together with the laptop, Tan did ask him something like "so it was all for nothing?" And Bun replied with "no" and it looked like he quickly showed him something on the laptop and then they both smiled a little and closed it. So there definitely was something, just maybe not exactly what they were expecting.
And I think Tan reporting the break-in is less strange when you keep in mind that he was pretty drunk and so not completely clear-headed and he also couldn't defend himself properly at that moment.

I wouldn't say I ruled out M but he's not as high up on my list of suspects. The cop who is always with him though…
I also became suspicious of Oat, he looks so innocent that it's a bit uncanny, and I also wondered who discharged Nam from the hospital so she could go to that congressman? I mean, it had to be a doctor, so I started to suspect Oat even more at that point :(
But I'm also suspicious of that hospital's director, he was so dissmisive when Bun expressed his concerns about the police and Jane's report and pretty much all shady people in the town (including the police chief and the congressman) were at his birthday party in the first episode, so he must personally know them.
And I hope that Sorawit is truly as innocent as he looks, I want him and Tat to become mini TanBun and be happy, lol.

I'm so suspicious of everyone in this drama, I don't even trust myself lol
Same, I can usually tell who is the murderer in crime series/movies, but this one is playing with our heads so much, lol, At his point, I'm just scared and confused, haha

The fact that we´re more than halfway in and literally everyone in the series looks suspicious in one way or another except Dr. Oat is starting to make me nervous, lol (I don´t count Sorawit since he´s just a kid and genuenly looks like he wants to help and figure out what´s going on). I hope I´m just being paranoid but in a town full of suspicious people, looking completely innocent is kinda a red flag for me. Especially since Jane was injected with Diazepam which is a medicine - of course mafia could get their hands on it easily but having a doctor work for them would be very convenient :/ I hope I´m very wrong though... (please no spoilers :)

I wonder if it's not because Tan and Pued were working on something together within the mafia? I had this feeling…
I really don't think Tan in involved in those horrible things, he doesn't even seem to know anything about the drugs and orgies etc, and he even asked Tat to investigate the drugs issue, so it seems to me that he's not involved in the mafia too much, and maybe he's also trying to break out of it.
He genuinely looks like he's longing for a normal, domestic life and there were moments when he actually seemed to admire Bun's sense of justice (he even said it to him on the terrace) so I believe he's actually a good guy! Just unlucky to be born into the mafia family, lol

So..Tan is Por and Pued's half brother...I really can't understand why he is trying so hard to protect Pued...he…
I wonder if it's not because Tan and Pued were working on something together within the mafia? I had this feeling from the beginning, with how protective he was of Jane even though she was Pued's girlfriend not his, and he looked absolutely shocked and angry when he found out about the abortion and the very same night, he was shouting at someone on the phone asking for explanation, and he told Bun that the person on the phone "deceived him", so I'm sure he was calling with Pued. Maybe they wanted to do something together about the organization but Pued had his own way of doing it and screwed things up :/ And now Tan is stuck in the mess and lies, but I don´t know, it´s just a theory, I might be wrong of course...

so effing random. One moment they're breaking into some policeman's car as if it was nothing, all set up to find…
Totally agree with you (and others above), and honestly, sometimes I feel like people are too used to that cheesy and more naive portrayal of romance in dramas that it flies straight over their heads when it's something more mature and natural like this...

Title Manner of Death Spoiler
Okay, so based on the last two episodes, here are some random observations/thoughts (these are not spoilers, I didn´t read the book): 1) If Peud was not the who kiled Jane himself (I guess he didn't), he's still responsible for her death because he dragged her into all that dangerous mess (contrast with Tan protecting Bun at all costs) 2) I think the one who killed the journalist was that Inspector M's short-haired colleague (based on the eyebrows and eyes of the killer). So because of this, I think M could be mostly innocent but just trapped in all that shit (he often looks like he's actually concerned about everything. It's his colleague who always stands by and just smiles/grins). Also, the police chief is defintely connected to that dirty business, no doubt about that. 3) Tan actually seems to know a bit less than I thought (about the drugs and Jane/Peud), so my theory is that he was born into the mafia family (Peud could be his half-brother I guess) but as he himself said, they don´t like him and they also think he´s untrustworthy, so he knows stuff (probably knows who killed Jane) and he does some shady/bad things but isn´t actually involved in the mafia too much, and he´s also trying to live a normal life.
Also, I pray that Dr. Oat is innocent because I wouldn´t survive the heartbreak, lol. And that Sarawit and Tat both survive and get together!!

I have to say I really loved the kiss scene in ep 5, it was just so... adult-like? Can't find the right words, but I just loved how casual and natural it was, nothing sappy or dramatic, no overly romantic music or slow-motion, nothing super sexual yet either, just two adults who are attracted to each other getting to know one another and being playful and flirty.

Same! There's also a small dialogue in episode 2 where I was like, "yep history trapped" lol
I didn't watch ep 2 yet, but I saw the preview for ep 3 somewhere on instagram, and the moment I saw that Bun will probably be moving in with Tan (because of the case I guess), I was sure the series was at least a little inspired by Trapped, lol. Also, I realized just now, but - Tan and Tang Yi are both quite similar names. Both have "Tan" in them, haha.

Exactly! I love this too. In the novel, they meet exactly at the murder scene for the first time. So, this is…
Oh, I didn't know that! I'm so glad they changed it in the series then, it's so much better this way and it will make their relationship develompent much more natural and logical I think. I really loved all those subtle glances and stares before they even talked to each other, and also the combination of attraction, embarrassment and disappointment on Bun's face when they met properly on the event next day. It was very nicely done, kudos to the scriptwriters! :)

The more I think about the first ep, the more it reminds me of History 3 Trapped (one of my all time favorite series). I hope it turns out to be just as amazing!

I haven’t read the novel but I like to theorize lol. I feel the murderers could be inspector M and maybe Oat.…
I honestly don't trust anybody in that town, lol. Everyone is kinda suspicious to me, and Tan warning Bun to be careful since he has just arrived to the town really made me think that there are many bad people there, not just one murderer. Also, while I don't think Tan is the killer, he's still suspicious af! I mean, who the hell goes right back to work after his girlfriend just died?! :D He's dealing with her death way too well, lol. I'm actually wondering whether they were truly dating? I mean, he shamelessly flirted with Bun that evening, and he subtly flirted even after the girl's death. Ah, only one episode and I'm already hooked, I love it, haha.

It looks amazing so far! I am really enjoying the different concept. Also, I really liked how they made them meet and be attracted to each other before the murder happened because when I was watching the trailer, I thought it might be a bit weird if they just meet and immediately fall for each other after the girlfriend is murdered, lol. But they made it clear that there was attraction right from the beginning which makes it actually so much more natural and realistic. Can't wait for more!

Is he mixed? Does anyone know? He looks mixed but im not sure
I don´t think he ever mentioned being mixed and it´s a bit hard to say just from his looks but the name Pavel is actually a typical Czech name (but also used in some Eastern European/Slavic countries too. I was very surprised when I saw a Thai actor having that name, haha). But then again, his parents could be both Thai and just liked the name...
