OKAY, BUT THE WAY THE KISSING TURNED INTO TAN HANDCUFFING BUN TO THE STAIRS.What is up with this show???? Why…
I agree, it was a bit weird that he only had bruised face and was otherwise fine. I think they also missed a great opportunity to have Bun take care of him, lol. If he was injured, Bun could have been his personal doctor and take care of him, haha.
Tann was never sending people out to look for Pued., He was sending people out to look at the drug connections…
Yes, I completely agree! Especially in this drama, where some characters are actual brothers, it gets even more confusing when they translate it that way :/
Tann was never sending people out to look for Pued., He was sending people out to look at the drug connections…
He didn't ask him where his brother was, the subtitles said "what did you do to my brother?" But the subtitles are to blame again for the confusion, haha.
In Thai, he used the word "nong" which technically means "younger brother/sister" but it's generally used to refer to anyone younger than you, it's a type of a pronoun. Tan was actually talking about Tat who was standing next to him. He was asking the man what he did to him (Tat, not Peud). There must have been a conflict between Tat and the man and Tan resolved it by beating the guy up, lol.
Tbh, I really don't like how the translator of this drama chose to always translate these pronouns like P, Nong or Hia as "brother" because it can be confusing to people who don't understand Thai at all, and don't know these words don't always mean actual brother/sibling.
It's not the best crime drama fir sure, but becasue it's lovely Max&Tul I gave it a chance and tried to watch…
I think it´s perfectly fine that you expressed your opinion politely, nothing can satisfy absolutely everyone and that´s fine. But, and this is truly just a friendly advice, life is too short to spend time doing/watching/reading something you really don´t like if you don´t have to. There are some other interesting looking series coming up this year, so hopefully you find something else you enjoy!
I just loved Tan´s subtle laughter in ep 9 after inspector M suggested that he was jealous of Peud and Jane because he had feelings for her and murdered them as a revenge. That was such a "Man, I'm gay, what are you even talking about here" laughter, lol.
Doctor Bun was the head surgeon and he still acts shocked when the patient he did surgery on tells him that he…
I think that might have been a translation mistake, actually. When you look at the scene when Sorawit is being chased by the guy, he was never actually shot, he was shot AT and that´s a difference. He was hit by a car and the shooter left, so the injuries that Bun was taking care of during the surgery were due to being hit by a car, not taking bullets. So when in the subtitles, he first says they were being chased by someone with a gun, and then Bun asks him "Were you shot?" I think what he actually said in Thai was "Were you shot at/Was he shooting at you?" or something along those lines, basically asking him whether the man was attempting to kill him.
Thai is a very ambiguous language and it´s super easy to make mistakes like this when translating.
I think Tan is going to face is brother and he wants to keep Bun safe because he knows he would follow him....now…
Yes, I also think he's just protecting him that way because he knows how stubborn Bun is, he'd follow him for sure. I mean, the last thing Tan told him before the kiss was "You don't know how much I worry about you" it was almost as if he was subtly trying to explain himself there.
And I also remember either Tul or Max saying something that I thought didn't add up but that college scene sort of explained it. But I don't know if we're thinking of the same thing, lol
The scene at the end of ep 9 was one of the most natural, subtly passionate and raw kissing scenes I have seen in a Thai drama, it was just so realistic, truly like watching a real couple on screen. And they managed to display that with all their clothes on... But why did you have to do that Tan!!! Now I need it to be Monday again.
(Anyways, that college scene at the beginning was like seeing Korn and Knock again in some alternative universe, haha. Also, Por and the Jane's sister are confusing me more and more, especially this episode. Can't wait to know more next week)
I think they did find something in the laptop, they just didn't show us yet. When they were lying in bed together…
Agreed! And I also think the money she sent to the journalist were definitely not for receiving information about Jane from him, I think it was a bribe so he doesn't leak anything about her! And I'm curious about who killed Peud, could be her for sure! Or someone from the police maybe
I think most people here complain about the realism aspect of this show and as a fellow person who works in a…
No problem! I'm glad we could explain ourselves here in a civil way :)
And now I understand what you were trying to do too, and I get the need to vent about series you're disappointed in, I've felt that too with some. But I guess that platforms like twitter are probably much better for that, haha :)

Hi :) To begin with, I just want to say that I certainly have no intention in battling someone and having arguments, I'm a very rational, levelheaded person, so no worries, haha.
If you want to know my stance on this, it's something like this: I think that everyone has their right to express their opinion on anything they wish and in whatever way they wish as long as it doesn't violate the rules of the said website if it's on the internet.
That being said, I think whenever you express an opinion on the internet, you are giving other people the right to express their opinion about what you've said as well. If you call something or someone "dumb" people can express what they think of such comment or criticize you for it too.
Personally, I spent almost 5 years of university receiving and giving constructive criticism as it's quite an important part of my major, and so I really appreciate a well informed and intelligent criticism, such as those about the medical aspect of the series for example.
What irks me, personally, are those who just call something dumb and don't bring anything new and intelligent into the discussion. But like I said, they have the right to do that (and I've never directly responded to those comments) but others also have the right to be annoyed by them.
Anyways, whenever I write comments here I write about my theories about the series and what I liked about each episode because I genuinely enjoy the drama and want to start an interesting discussion. But I also appreciate those who notice some real issues/flaws in the episodes. And I think that we can all agree that if people tried to make intelligent, interesting or funny comments (positive or critical), this comment section would have been much better place :)
You make great points. I'm not trying to be, "back in the good old days" but I do see changes in the community.…
Oh yes, I really miss those side comments too! :( They made me feel like I was watching it with a friend, and I also liked how they often explained some untranslatable phrases/words or jokes, so that international fans wouldn't miss the nuances and fully understand the scenes.

Constructive criticism is absolutely fine and I've not seen anyone attacking people for politely pointing out the flaws in production or script etc. We can all agree no drama/movie is perfect and this kind of ciriticism can even help the producers and actors to do better.
But the original comment above was clearly meant for those who just drop by to call the series "dumb" and don't even constructively explain why (like the comment below which is now deleted) and few others in the same category.

Ah, the good old days when we had to wait for days or even a week for subtitles from Thai fans and everything was so much more wholesome, haha :(
I agree, I think Thai dramas have become much more popular in the last 2 years, which is great for Thai entertainment industry, but the fandoms simply changed :/ I also noticed that a large amount of kpop fans came in, and from my high school kpop obsession phase, I know very well how much they like creating drama :( No offense to nice kpop fans of course, I was one too once, but it's clear that some of them brought that behaviour into this fandom...
It's not worth arguing with people like this, they're always subconsciously (or even consciously) searching for the next opportunity to be offended by something and criticize just for the sake of it...
