Ok the last episode felt a bit cheap, but I've often seen much worse so I expected a bland happy ending. Still a great drama nevertheless.

Not the best of its kind but it's s very good drama, highly recommended.
She might not be everyone's cup of tea but A Sheng was my favorite. It's so refreshing to see such a grey, complicated yet profound character.

I'm at ep 4, something is off about Ren in present time. I hope it's not what I think it is. Would be absolutely brilliant storytelling but...

She's the most interesting character in the drama.

The thing that sets this drama apart from the rest is Sun SiMing.
He has to be the greatest villain I've ever seen in a Chinese drama.
It felt like he was the center character of the story, on par with the ML. From his humble beginnings to his slow and cunning rise to power, and his reasoning about getting out of the misery he was born in and doing something great about his life, he was the best written character in the drama.
Without him the drama would have been average at best.

Great drama so far. The romance is not strong enough to ruin it, yet.

I know dozen of adults with 0 accountability. You aren't an adult at 18 and you're certainly not mature enough to deal with tragedy like that.

Teenagers here ( the vast majority) only want braindead romance, especially with their favorites actors. This was to be expected.

Give this actor something to work on and he will always steal the show.

The kid playing the young version of Kang Mina's character looks exactly like her. Great casting choice.
