She's the most interesting character in the drama.

The thing that sets this drama apart from the rest is Sun SiMing.
He has to be the greatest villain I've ever seen in a Chinese drama.
It felt like he was the center character of the story, on par with the ML. From his humble beginnings to his slow and cunning rise to power, and his reasoning about getting out of the misery he was born in and doing something great about his life, he was the best written character in the drama.
Without him the drama would have been average at best.

Great drama so far. The romance is not strong enough to ruin it, yet.

Teenagers here ( the vast majority) only want braindead romance, especially with their favorites actors. This was to be expected.

Give this actor something to work on and he will always steal the show.

I think overall the OST is weird. It goes from good to a total mismatch. But rarely bad.

10 episodes so far and I don't have any other complain. This is good.

If you wanna see something like Constantine but in Taiwanese folklore this is for you.
