Thank you! I've been trying to register but it keeps getting denied; something to do with my IP address and spam or something. I don't really understand what it means hehe
This is so damn weird it's almost funny. I feel like I just wasted a few hours watching this but I am not really upset. In fact, I am amused. This is like those horror shows you watch with your friends to have a good laugh; I don't necessarily hate it.
Yuki's performance is so enjoyable to watch. He's so crazy.
i plan to watch the whole high&low but idk which one should i start first. if i watch this, is there any plot…
Since this is a spin-off and not directly related to the main story, you can watch it as a stand alone. But if you really want to watch the whole franchise in order, this movie is the last one you should be watching.
- HiGH & LOW (10 episodes) - HiGH & LOW Season 2 (10 episodes) - HiGH & LOW The Movie - HiGH & LOW The Red Rain - HiGH & LOW The Movie 2: End of Sky - HiGH & LOW The Movie 3:Final Mission
And if you wanna watch this particular movie spin-off, you might want to first watch HiGH & LOW The Worst Episode.0 ; it has 6 episodes.

Oh, I have to wait another time for a kind soul to also sub the sequel then. *sighs* I am currently watching the movie. I was also looking for the raw earlier but found the one with hardsub in dramacool instead.
Maybe because I find Philosophy interesting that I also love the concept of this show. I just wish the episodes were long enough to delve deeper on each character's individual stories and also more on Takayanagi. Other than that, it was overall a nice show.
It's a delight to finally watch Yuki wherein his role isn't "the second male lead who didn't get the girl" or "the main character in a show that wastes his talent." He deserves more roles like this.
So apparently Hao Fushen, the actor who starred as Yu Liang was caught up with cheating allegations. If allegations…
Just came back on socmed only to hear that news and I didn't know how to take it. I love Yu Liang so much. In the end, I thought I am just gonna totally separate him from the actor. Glad to know some people think the same way.
I was just thinking a few months ago that it'd be nice to have a *good* LA adaptation of Given. Never thought I'd see it this soon. Now I just have to wait to see if it's really a *good* adaptation~
Finished 'til EP22 and gotta say this was a bumpy experience for me. First episode was interesting but somewhere…
- Damn, I've always had a bad feeling about Xu Wei but I still gave him the benefit of the doubt because he was Xiao Feng's best friend. What a scum.
- Qilin may be the most hot headed among 1coin but when it comes down to it, he was the one who cared for their leader the most. I was so happy the first time I saw him during Xiaobei's time.
- The friendship between XF and LXB is absolutely lovely. <3 It was so cute everytime XF insist that LXB call him gege or Feng ge and he finally got his way.
- I wish I was able to see more of King, ngl. From the start, I had a feeling he wasn't really bad; he's just the typical lonely player who wanted to play a game he could be proud of. I was glad he became part of Continue in the end.
- I didn't mind the romance but I think Chu ge's senior (that musician?) was completely unnecessary. Same as the female fan of Xiao Bei. As for Kai and S+1, I didn't know what happened to them coz I just skipped their parts.
Finished 'til EP22 and gotta say this was a bumpy experience for me. First episode was interesting but somewhere along the first 10 episodes I considered dropping it. I am glad I held out. While some parts were meh and at times frustrating, it's still worth it tolerating 'coz there were also a lot of moments which made me fired up. Also laugh and cry. I'm cool with the bits of romance as long as this doesn't create a major drama. So far, both FL were actually likable. As for the crime/mystery part... Well, I love mystery stories, books and dramas alike, but I honestly don't feel like playing detective when it comes to this show. I just want them to solve it asap and get it over with. Also, Da Wei is starting to get on my nerves. I hope it'll change later on.
'love the team's chemistry. Their spontaneous interactions were always a delight to watch.
I think I am on the minority who love this season more than the first one (they were both good of course) because there were more episodes here which got me more emotional. Episode 4 specially broke my heart; the reality of it just hit so hard.
Indeed. I love this show but have the sense to know that not everyone is going to feel the same way. As long as…
Well, I don't really have a detailed criticism of the show (or more like I am a lazy creature to make one). I like the OST, I love Earth, I like that they deviated from the school setting. Maybe I just found the story telling weak. I was waiting for the "Wow, this is such a masterpiece" moment but it never came for me. The characters couldn't get me engaged enough either.
To be fair though, as compared with a couple of Thai BLs I've watched, I'd say it's better. Anyway, I rarely give shows a 10/10 rating. There are also very few shows I rated 9 or 9.5. So an 8/10 (which I gave ATOTS) is still fairly decent. Just like all my average okay shows, it was kind of enjoyable but overall forgettable.
Did someone pick it up? I just started watching it yesterday and loved it (am still on EP2 though). I was only able to see 6 subbed episodes, now I saw there's EP7. That made my day.

Gonna start S3 now~
but only if you're into some kind of 'gangster' stories
Young Shi Guang asked about it on the the very first episode. :) And Chu Ying explained it's an article about Go written by His Majesty.
