Just finished episode 26. Help me out. Is Yu the true son of the crown prince? Crown prince was kinda hot so I wasn’t ready to see him die.
Also, ML’s mom is a scheming biatch. I’m still confused about why Mai’s parents were killed. For what? What were they trying to achieve by killing them.
Just finished 30. Wait a damn minute, I thought the dad was the emperor lmao. But he’s not, thus the name prince an. He’s not even emperor, why are his loser sons fighting for something that isn’t even the throne??
He received a confidential letter from Commander Mu saying he would do his best to help him win the throne if…
Why does commander Mu want her released, what is his relation to her? I assume this is the concubine that lives in that secluded, cheap secondary mansion?
Just finished episode 28. Who is the son Hua? I know he is brothers with xin, the male lead, but was this the first episode we saw him?
So the battle for the throne will be between prince Hua (son who’s been fighting away from mansion) and grandson?! Kinda makes no sense. If prince hua is so respected in leading armies and super smart, then why wouldn’t the emperor pass the throne to him?!
the baby , how did he die? did his mother kill him?
Yes, that’s what the drama insinuated. She’d rather her baby die so she gets to stay at the mansion. Her maid gave something to the baby. She said to her, you know what to do right?
I've started to fast forward way too much and I don't care at all for the ML & FL's relationship - I love angsty…
Girllllll! I’ve enjoyed episodes 14-22! Especially the last 4. Probably bc I love the female lead. But finally, we can move forward with the storyline bc of what happened in 21.

I’m still gonna finish watching but wow, to cut the drama down from 50+ to 36 was terrible.
It’s entertaining and keeps your attention. Not overly predictable. Not super serious or try hard. It’s messy but good.
I love harem dramas, miss them so much that my judgement might be cloudy but this drama is good. It’s old school. Messy but good.
