Just finished episode 26. Help me out. Is Yu the true son of the crown prince? Crown prince was kinda hot so I wasn’t ready to see him die.

Also, ML’s mom is a scheming biatch. I’m still confused about why Mai’s parents were killed. For what? What were they trying to achieve by killing them.

Just finished episode 28. Who is the son Hua? I know he is brothers with xin, the male lead, but was this the first episode we saw him?

So the battle for the throne will be between prince Hua (son who’s been fighting away from mansion) and grandson?! Kinda makes no sense. If prince hua is so respected in leading armies and super smart, then why wouldn’t the emperor pass the throne to him?!

Episode 28 was good.

Yes, that’s what the drama insinuated. She’d rather her baby die so she gets to stay at the mansion. Her maid gave something to the baby. She said to her, you know what to do right?

Ugh, bad editing is back in 23-24. Really bad editing. Chinese censorship or the recent rules that were imposed on dramas has ruined this drama. Sad.

I’m still gonna finish watching but wow, to cut the drama down from 50+ to 36 was terrible.

OMG agree!!!!! I love female lead and the drama isn’t completely predictable. Episode 21-22 were good and I cannot wait for Sundays episodes!!

Girllllll! I’ve enjoyed episodes 14-22! Especially the last 4. Probably bc I love the female lead. But finally, we can move forward with the storyline bc of what happened in 21.

It gets better bc there are way less cuts and weird scenes that Make zero sense. Sunday can’t come fast enough for episode 23-24.

You can totally feel those things in the first 10-12 episodes but it gets much better afterwards

Yes, Ived missed palace-harem dramas! It’s entertaining once you get through the first 10 episodes which were the clunkiest.

It’s entertaining and keeps your attention. Not overly predictable. Not super serious or try hard. It’s messy but good.

The show gets better from 14 on. I fast forwarded and skipped so many parts of the first 10 episodes. You don’t miss anything.

I love harem dramas, miss them so much that my judgement might be cloudy but this drama is good. It’s old school. Messy but good.
