Public Service Announcement to Dodal, NJH and NDS fans.
1. HJP fans do not hate you, nor do they hate NJH the actor.
2. HJP fans dislike the things NDS has been doing, his behavior and characteristic. But we don't wish harm to happen to him nor do we overly hate him. We just don't think he is the right man for SDM. And being HJP fans, of course we think HJP is a better match.
3. Most HJP fans know that MIJI is not endgame and has accepted Dodal is end game.
4. Criticizing NDS doesn't mean we are toxic, it means we are critics, which is what MDL's community purpose is, for people to criticize actions of writers, characters, plot and etc...
5. Most HJP fans are open minded, if NDS fans can come up with some good arguments, don't be surprised if you see more than a few HJP fans agree with you.
6. HJP fans don't hate grandma, we dislike her actions, because it is very very counterproductive to her character in the first 8 episodes. What she did in episode 9, did not seem like the same grandma who said she wish she had met HJP earlier.
7. HJP fans do not like how NDS has treated the people around him, self esteem issues or not, we think it's not ok.
8. HJP fans feel we are entitled to our opinion, and should not be labelled delusional, toxic, dreamers and etc... We are supporting a sinking ship, so the least that NDS fans can do is not gloat.
9. Yes, you should expect that HJP fans will complain about episodes that doesn't show HJP in a good light, because we are HJP fans. What did you expect?
10. Yes, HJP fans will not go away until the show is over, and maybe not even if the show is over.
11. HJP mind is made up on HJP and NDS, so don't expend too much effort to change our minds too much, because we are stubborn lot. Even when the ship has sunk, we will still have faith, because we are hopeless romantics.
12. HJP has led a difficult life, so don't be surprised if HJP fans rejoice at the smallest wins for HJP.

You see the problem is NDS sabotages himself. His parents, I doubt, pushes him so much and tells him to cheat to win. The parents actually seem like nice people. But you see adult Dosan just never matures pass his young self, for someone to have the same mentality for 15 years shows me a about that person. But the writers are going to for sure make a huge change in his personality in the time skip, which I can't respect, nobody changes that drastically like that.
So it's quite unfair NDS blames his dad for the way he turned out. Totally unfair.

My suggestion is, you need a proper work life balance. As fun as it is to just concentrate on doing things that make us happy, or ONLY do things that make us happy, that is not realistic.
We need to properly balance creating a proper source of income that is based on a 5-10-15 year plan. Doing things we find fun, that includes pursuing our passions. Fulfilling our obligations to the people who count on us, including our parents, and finally setting aside some time to love ourselves, and being able to take a step back and tell ourselves, I'm doing a pretty good job so far.
Try to focus on one thing at a time, people may judge you for it, but so what. Get your mind in order, and prioritize what is important first.
Also, I can't speak more about you since I don't know you, but maybe try discussing some of these things with your parents. You'll be surprised at how much insights parents can have on these topics.
In the end, you are your own person making your own decisions. So no matter what I, your parents, or someone else may say, your mental, your mind is yours only.

I've haven't had the best childhood as well, but we all learn to cope. You would be surprised, Asian kids are some of the most mentally resilient people in the world because of all the adversity growing up.

So maybe stop being a hypocrite before blaming the other side of the coin, when you are also clearly doing it.
