The amount of effort and times this man put into trying to escape is honestly impressive and the way he came back,…
You see Kang Moo represents the South Korean's of 1987.
Him trying to free himself, and getting caught, and trying to free himself again, represents the South Korean who are constantly captured, tortured, and killed by the ANSP. No matter how many times the ANSP will capture them, they will find a way to rebel and fight the power.
Or, Kang Moo is just an idiot. Choose your poison :)
I had a feeling her love for her brother might be used as a tool between them, but didn't expect it to also be…
For the love to blossom.
Young Ro and Soo Ho both need to be painted in a more sympathetic light, so that the hostage (who are representative of the viewers) will pity the two star crossed lovers.
I have a feeling the hostages will aid these lovebirds somewhere down the line.
Y'all this plot makes less and less sense everyday. Honestly at this point I'm just gonna turn my brain off and…
It's the writer's attempt at black comedy. But there is no nuances at all, so I just comes off as one of those corny, slapstick type of comedy that either makes you laugh or cringe.
It almost has that Prank Variety Show feel at this point.
Young ro loves her brother? But he only had 5 seconds of screen time how does that make sense?
With all the corny and slapstick comedy, I am almost 80% sure it's going to be a happy enough ending.
I would LOVE to get a sad ending with multiple deaths, but the fact that no one important has died yet. I am not holding my breath.
I really dislike writing where so many things go wrong, but no one pays for it. It's so incredibly unrealistic for me. Like Ep. 8 really showcased that the writer thinks she's writing a black comedy, but as watcher of multiple black comedies, this is not it.
I guess maybe Korean black comedy is this kind of shallow, corny, slapsticks type of comedy, with that kind of exaggerations all over the place. Not a fan if this is the case.
Mind blown!
Conflict Between Lovers? CHECK
Disapproving Parents? CHECK
Unnecessary Love Triangle? CHECK

At this point, I need Young Ro to be an alien and Soo Ho to be a robot to be really surprised.
Instead we have tissue paper Kang Moo who is obsessed with medical equipment.
