Boon Ok is life. With her limited screen time, she has me rooting for her happy ending. And unlike the other girls,…
The thing is Boon Ok's hard life has made her a pragmatist. She will find the guy whose flowery last name will bring her higher social status and not necessarily looking for love. So any coupling would be out of political convenience rather than any type of love.
She is just such a bad ass. The way she stood up to Ms. Pi, amazing scene!
The best we can hope for comrade Joo is for him not to die, and defect. He is too far gone into the North Korean indoctrination to feel what Soo Ho is feeling for Young Ro.
There is implication that Soo Ho got his position, and status not because of his skills, but because of his connection to Lim Rok. Which could mean his training was not as harsh as that of Comrade Joo, and why he retained more of his humanity.
Story is great,ji Soo is doing a decent job for her first drama she may not act amazingly but she fits the role…
Boon Ok is life.
With her limited screen time, she has me rooting for her happy ending.
And unlike the other girls, I actually feel Boon Ok can find happiness without a man her character desperately feel she needs.
I know it may be difficult at times to find that inner strength, especially when you are in a position full of disrespect, but she has shown me that she has so much resolve, that I feel she can succeed far more than the woman she oversees. But first she needs to let go of her insecurities and lean on her strengths instead.
I like SHIN HYE SUN and KIM HYE YOON amongst all the new generation female leadsThey may not have the best looks…
They fit that Gong Hyo Jin type. Not great visuals, but for some reason, you are drawn to them because of their talent.
Shin Hye Sun has even been called Mini GHJ. And I think Kim Hye Yoon is following a similar path.
All three ladies are not your typical Kdrama visuals, but they are making it work. As far as I know these three ladies have no plastic surgery done as well, which is amazing.
Didn't they both appear in Skycastle? Probably wanted to work with people she's worked with before. But yeah, both…
I haven't seen Kim Hye Yoon, but she's literally up there for me with Shin Hye Sun in terms of talent. Her short scenes here and there are really standing out. Even before the scene and backstory of Boon Ok, you could feel the pity and sympathy for Boon OK.
Young Ro's character, I cannot say the same. Even after having such bad parents, and an evil stepmom, I kind of feel no sympathy for her. Hard to explain why.
Maybe I see more of myself in Boon Ok, maybe that's why.
Who is saying Jisoo doesn't deserve the role? I haven't seen it in MDL.
To be honest, if a no talent actress like Suzy can be a megastar with good visuals. Then Jisoo can easily surpass Suzy, as her acting is already very close to Suzy. And Jisoo actually has an excuse this is her first drama.
No ramyun yet.
Would be a parallel to the government during these times.
Problem is they use real names of the government and ANSP org.
Both are being portrayed in a symphatetic light.
That's the controversy.
Satiring female police
Satiring macho politicians
It's like. "Ok, I pointed the gun at you, and you pointed the gun at me, now we are even"
It seems like a really cheap way to rationalize that they both pointed the guns at each other and thus are now on even ground.

Her acting though, is so dull, lifeless, and just straight up boring.
I am a firm believer, Suzy is only where she is because of her amazing visuals, and nothing more. Not surprised that she and Lee Min Ho dated.
They probably gave each other "acting" advice, LOL!
Should I watch Royal Inspector or Skycastle to see her shine?
Also, noticed they changed her picture on MDL. I think I prefer the old picture. the new ones doesn't even look edited.
Those places have always been more extreme on both side of the wall for any topics, especially Kpop related ones.

What is Suzy's excuse?
