If u call kissing between gay couple a fetish....just what is wrong with you :D People are usually going nuts…
you're not the type of person I'm talking about, that's for sure. I mean, I'd love to see a kissing scene as well, it would be very sweet and cute and as you said, maybe it would complete the story more, but seeing the bed scene or the scene after that was also enough for me ahaha. have a good night <3

you are right and that's what i'm saying. gay couple fetishizers would go crazy if they showed a kissing scene between Adachi and Kurosawa since they were waiting for a kiss since the beginning, this was what I'm saying. Like, they didn't give a scene to fetishize Kurodachi for them, you get it? And I'm not talking about people on here, they are mostly on twitter. I guess either you misunderstood my comment or I couldn't put it well.
I'm really happy about there is no Adachi and Kurosawa kissing scene. Screenwriters, director or whoever wanted not to show a kiss between Adachi and Kurosawa made the best decision ever by not giving more content to fetishizers <3 love them for this
if it is about for some other reason, and it possibly is, it's kind of a bummer but still, I didn't care about a kiss. a beautiful ending for a great show.

Hmmm... I'm going to be honest and say that I didn't really like it. Sorry, don't shoot me! lol Maybe it's just…
they made it clear that they had sex, i think it should make homophobics offend more than a kiss lol
however, i don't think that straight people who would be offended from a kiss, would not watch this show until the very end.

i mean there's another drama where one of the main character is still homophobic after a 7 year same sex relationship…
OMG THIS COMMENT DKDKFKFK
i loved the first two episodes. it was a new plot using artistic male characters and i love those types of guys so i knew i 'd like this show so i stopped watching it until the last episode. i see people like this show but it's just too short, as every other korean lgbt drama... but at least they are coming up with new stories and quality! can't wait to binge-watch it.
I'm actually so sad it is coming to an end but at least they will be leaving us with a great show that many people found happiness and comfort during all of their sad times. I don't think I will meet any characters like them in any other shows and I'm so happy about it because this is how I'm going to remember Cherry Magic, with all of its characters and their sweet and sometimes sad moments. it was so joyful to comment my thoughts after when an episode finished, or replying to your comments, waiting for the subs and reading the translations from the comment section also counts for the joyful moments as well!! i remember the comment section was less than 500 comments but now it's 11424 comments. power of Cherry Magic! <3

THIS BL DRAMA IS THE WORST BL DRAMA EVER. PLEASE DON’T WATCH. IF WE KEEP WATCHING TV SERIES LIKE THIS, GMMTV…
people defend this show by saying "yes, homophobic people exist so what is wrong showing excerpts from real life?" or "don't take it seriously." but they are out of their head. 1) it is an unnecessary representation. (he will OF COURSE not be a homophobe by the end of the show but i'm so sure they will not show how he changed his mind in a "good representation" way.)
2) show me one gay guy who tried to be friends with a mad homophobe, although everyone around him is supportive, also he has some other gays in his life so what is the point of trying to be friends with a homophobe? doesn't make senseeeeeee AT ALL.
i still have a lot to say about this show but there were many other points other people made in the comment section but some people alwaysss disagree with the points they made and i'm tired of hearing their point of view because they just bullshitting. no words. no one needed this show. it sucks

ITSAY and MoD saved Thai BLs from the catastrophe in 2020.
we have literally zero idea about seme/uke in Chery Magic, you are the one who imposes seme/uke stereotypes to them. and top of that Adachi might be asexual.
but go off i guess.

I realized which scenes you could refer as heteronormative and I agree there are 3-4 scenes, for example when Kurosawa and Adachi walks through a lane and Adachi says something like "we could be with our girlfriends/wives right now" or something similar to this. But in another subtitle it is lover, not girlfriend/wife because some japanese words such as "lover/boyfriend/girlfriend" are gender neutral, for example the word in Kurosawa's poem 'koibito.' it can be gf/bf/lover and it's up to translatoe which world to put, and bf is the best for CM.
However, there are some other heteronormative scenes like the one when they were about to kiss. They think if it's 'normal' or not.
I find similarities between Adachi and Teh although one of them is an adult and the other is a teenager, they have still their heteronormativity coded because of the society but both are trying to break it.
Teh already achieved it and i think Adachi came a long way as well.

I wanted to write this because i thought CM was heteronormative as well but Adachi already has struggles in his own world and only thing he needed was a spark like Kurosawa, i already see Adachi breaking that heteronormativity.
And if you think interpret it this way maybe you can like Cherry Magic more

I just finished watching this. The writing and production was really great. Their relationship was so toxic along…
this is the funniest comment i have EVER read on a comment section. thank you!!
