I just finished the whole season today and i'm in the minority but i really don't see the appeal for this show. Maybe people just talking about it because it's fun but some talk like this is the best (k)drama ever... like...?? Yeah, games were exciting and all the actors did a pretty good job but i couldn't care for any of the characters, all of them could appear in another drama and it wouldn't change a thing, they were not special and i even didn't want to see if they will be able to live another round. I feel like this show is made only for the games and then they added characters here and there to make it longer. I also don't understand the comparisons between Alice in Borderland and Squid Game at all, just because both have games and people have to die it doesn't mean they are similar... Alice in Borderland was much more enjoyable for me.

I never have been interested in homophobic and violent plots but I heard Night Flight a lot that I felt the urge to watch it. Finally, after 3 years I watched it. It has assaults, violence, homophobia, bullying, but Night Flight has also its own style and narrative even though it's hard to keep up with it at times, some parts of the scenes make it feel like they don’t belong to this movie because we don’t know how things went there.

I don’t want to rate this movie because when it comes to Night Flight, it would diminish the experience for me since there were extra (and nonessential) points that wanted to be made, however, the last 15 minutes was like Dogville but make it gay and it redeems itself for me :/ I’m a sucker for getting the revenge you deserve - i wonder how do they live now. hmm.

my mom finished this show and she LOVES and adores it, and she wants to watch more shows like this one that has romance, like the exact same way it was portrayed. does anyone have any suggestions? help meeeee please guys

plastic surgery

this drama was a rollercoaster of emotions. the 7th episode is a total breakdown and you can't let your breath out until the end of the last episode. this deserves to be watched by many other people. it's a shame we don't have it in higher quality because from acting to script it is almost fantastic. And also intense.

The part you quoted is already what happened to Teh and Ohaew, but they did this by using Jai/cheating storyline. I’m criticizing the way writers picked cheating, they could have picked something else. Also I couldn’t care less if it was “clever,” or how it developed, or if it was “original” or not, (it is you who brought up originality in your first comment, not me, so don’t expect me to create an original story) you want me to find answers for your own questions, ok.

I’m sorry about not knowing the entire literature or shows that have cheating in them, lmao. It will always be one of the easiest ways to create a conflict like we’ve just seen IPYTM.

Most probably I’d take anything, any storyline- didn’t have to be original (like you said how original IPYTM is), I just wanted a happier 5 episodes not this cheaply created cheating drama.

i didn't like the cheating plot, i didn't tell you my alternate story line btw. i'm sure writers could have come up with something better, not me. ITSAY was unique. IPYTM could have been unique too.

the only thing that ruined the season was that cheap 'cheating' storyline. if they wouldn't choose this device to show the audience people do immature things, everything could have been better, the story would have been miles better.
if you try to ignore Jai and the 3th-4th episodes and just think Teh and Ohaew are somewhat separated because they realized they both needed time to grow and come back stronger, you can like the ending better. the whole season did NOT live up to the hype it had but it finished off the best way it could.
and at the end of the day, it's fiction, i couldn't care less if Ohaew became a couple again with the guy who cheated him lol

this season sucked so bad because they gave us the worst story they could come up with. lmao. what a disgrace to the first season. they could have developed the story in a way so beautifully done, they did the opposite. at least today it will be over so that i can move on from it.

i have no words left. this part really will leave a trauma on me. i wish we never got this kind of story. it didn't evaluate the value of the itsay or bkpp or anything/anyone. it's just a stain at this point.
i always hate reading comments of people about shows "this could be different" "they could write another outcome from this incident" etc. but guys...now I'm saying the same. EVERYTHING about this show could have been 100x times better and everyone would love and treasure it.
it could be a series that would increase the value and the feelings we got from ITSAY but now what we have? literally, just a stain.
I'm just so sad, and it seems that episode 5 will be the last spin on my grave.

i'd rather to have a loving and cute story, how they deal with their lives, friends etc etc, in IPYTM than this angst and drama.
