I rewatched again from ep 1. All the mess start with ZD who ask her to join a casual meeting full of powerful people with money.

All she want is stable career, big bonus and buy a nice flat with his BF 🥲

But as long as they together in another drama, i don't mind if they not as couple or even as an enemy. It fresh to see how their acting develop.

In novel, they have that kind of relationship but in drama, it a bit ambiguity. I don't know if this because of 'unwritten rules' of not showing bed scenes except they are FL & ML, but in drama ZD come to HT apartment too, if she only business partner this will not happens. So i think the producer implicitly give a hint they are more than business partner.

Of course, this just my understanding.

I come to care about their characters and how good their acting. Especially fighting scene, both of them are so great. Love to see them couple up again in period setting drama.

This is one reason of her insecurity. Before, she has steady career, loving boyfriend and caring friends. Then she lost all of that.

HT is practical while JX is emotionally invest

JX is too kind hearted as a boss but on the other hand, she unprofessional as a business woman. She mix business with personal life. She should attend that merger meeting if she care about her company but instead she choose not. For what ever reason in her personal life, business is business. She should not mix them.

I understand her pov as HT girlfriend but as leader of company she choose a bad decision.

Suddenly i think i know why grandpa choose ZD for HT, because grandpa know about HT pov about ideal wife/love. And he choose ZD because grandpa sees (based on how HT pov about ideal wife/love ) ZD is the right partner for him. So it's not that grandpa choose ZD for HT. But grandpa choose ZD because of HT ( how HT pov of ideal wife/love ) if that make sense 🤭

I am also not defending both side. This is my understanding if i see from JX pov.

Even when they only date for one month. HT give her a clue or image that he want to have family with her ( talk about genes of calligraphy ) and they meet each other families. I don't know where you come from but in Asian culture, meeting with family mean a serious relationship toward marriage.

JX is not immature, she just not used with power struggle of those who have money. She new of investment, she new of this leader of company. If we look back, she was raised with family full of love, pampering and supportive boyfriend ( before he become ex ),

I think the production has a good reason from changing from 3 to 1 month. It all make sense. If 3 month, HT have a lot of time talk about HH and JX also can learn more about managing her
company. If this change into 3 months all those fight will be irrelevant coz they staying together in same house, JX will learn about his true personality
then.

And 9 months broke up also make sense for me. First JX broke up from his 4 years bf, than hook up and have relationship after only 1 months separation and failed again. So for the 3rd time, she need to be more careful so 9 months is still relevant for this.

And she don't know him that deep. She only know that he is caring and love her and mentoring her a out how to run business. What she got image of his cruelness in the business only from the words of destroy in tea restaurant.

For HT, my pov. He didn't make any mistake as investor but he has a mistake as a bf. He pursue her, help her, create an illusion that he want to build family with her but then said about uncertainty of love?? Like what?? You chase a girl, ask her to move with you, sleep with you but you talk love like business deal??! 🙄

Yes, this probably the reason why she leave XC and study again to become good leader. The other side maybe because she choose to stay away from HT, because she need time from her break up and to clear her mind to face him again in profession position not as his girlfriend.

Exactly. The pov of everyone said about HT are based of viewer pov ( who saw everything in the drama) . JX only knew tonghe is HT enemy, she doesn't know how bad tonghe is. JX is new for this leadership things ( she is former employee but become a bos later ) her idealistic of investment still lack knowledge.

Agreed, HT not love her for 15th years. He just finally meet his crush again after so long. He has lingering feeling for her and curiosity why she didn't reply his msg. The spark is still there when he meet her again but during 15th years she never his priority.

Yes, The Wedding is not important and should not that long, i ff too. I dislike the-called-bestfriend. She like his friend ex ( when they still in relationship ) at least that called friend need to come clean to JX before she want to pursue the ex bf. I hate her than i hate the ex 🤣
