For me the scary things is, how easy HT to bought back the stocks and give them all to her like XC is not matter to him. JX scary of his power over all situation he controlled. How he use XC as a pawn to trap her sister, how he offer trade to CH and how he give JX back what she sell to CH...if i were her, i escape from him for real.

At the fight, JX mistake was not see him as businessman but only see him as his boyfriend.

I found a new pov after watch ep 31 in proper english sub.

So basically JX saw HT, she knew about HH and merger by putting the documents in the table. I think JX want To give HT to come clean and confront her directly and said about that. But no, HT just silent.

After that JX sell the stocks to CH. And she tell HT but then what she afraid of happened, HT use XC as a pawn to trap his sister, and what makes her afraid is how easy for HT to bought back the stocks XC as he like. In my pov, XC is JX proud hardwork and the way HT do just trample the her hard work thats the reason why JX feel scared of HT then decide to separation. What JX hate the most is being controlled and lose freedom, thats why in the end she finally decide to left XC after she make sure HH don't fired her employees.

This is well-writen script. I love this interpretation than the novel. And their fight showed how different both of HT and JX pov about the value and love.

JX decide to leave because he already fall in love with HT without knowing HT actually love her too. Even the merger happened, impossible they can maintain business at that time. Separation is needed. 🥲

They both are good conveying the emotions. I saw JX scared of HT for the first time...and HT, hats up to XK for conveying HT emotions so good, maybe this also HT feeling betrayed by the one he cared so much. The habit of controlling her and his desperation to not losing him expose here. While JX scared face after found out so easy for him to this ( buy again her stock and give the share to her ) makes her scare more how powerful he is.

When 2 talented people combine and have great acting skills, even worse scripts drama can be good. I've seen this. I'm not talking about ABAY of course..others dramas 🤭

If i were JX i will also have distrust issue. First the company she worked betrayed her after worked there for so long. Then her own fiance/BF break up and have a relationship with her BFF ( there is a girl code you never date your ex BFF ) then, her coworker friend who she though she close & knew tried to harm her company, and last is the man who she trust and thought love her also hiding big secret for her. Who have not distrust issues if like this 🥲. For someone like JX who raise in family full of loving family and BFF, Her reaction is normal for me

Everyone blame JX because her rash decision but we are the viewer, we know all HT plan but she doesn't. She saw how cruel HT can do to his competitor who doesn't agreed with him in the tea restaurant. So she imagine her company will have sane fate too after what he said about love.

For me, the act of JX is normal for someone who deep in love with a person and thought she know about that person but actually not. Imagine you sleep with partner that turn out your partner all this long is your own big competitor/enemy and you tell him everything about your company to him. The trust is gone after that...and that's normal.

Also it is normal for me too JX goes to CH because he cone at the right time when she scared and give her ( she think it is )
The best solution for her company. This drama full of rational logic and (still) full of drama. JX is knew as CEO, she lack at experiences and still green at manipulation. I think the reason she goes to CH because she knew only him can help her to prevent her company being used as chess pawn because CH is HT enemy, that is my understanding of JX. What JX do is to balance HT power over her company after she found out about HH company.

And why she listen to ZD, it's because she think ZD situation is same as her. Because that what she sees before, that is why she ask about what love meaning to HT and HT answer is same reasoning as what ZD said to JX.

Ugh..it's been a long time i log back again to comment about Cdrama. I'm so invested of this drama. I love TSY and XK, been wanting to see this couple up after their received the awards together in the
past and XK help her with her mic 🤭

I watched it few years ago and i think it still the best 'slice of life' school Themes chinese drama i ever watched. I feel their struggle as a student, their friendship, it realistic and beautiful. Even lots maybe feel don't like the ending. I love it. I understand. For 2nd ML i feel sorry for him, but there will be a time that you need to let go what you should let go. This Drama and Dear Mayang Street, leave a deep impression to me. Where both seems to very different story but also feel the same. In here i feel sorry to the 2nd ML but i understand him, in Dear mMayang street, i feel sorry for the ML but i also understand his choice. TSY is a great actress, her choices of Dramas always makes a deep impression on me.

As the novel reader, the story are following the novel likes 90% regarding her characters and what's she do. But in term of fashion, yes that's the only different, in the novel TY describe as a tomboy girls who likes to wear pants and oversize t-shirt. She seldom wear a skirt and She not wears makeup.

And yes, in term of acting, i think she still not into her character. Her chemistry with LSC still lacking but her chemistry with Her Ex are on point. I hope it will get better. I enjoying so far because little fatty and Lu yue characters are exactly as the novel describe.

My only setback is how thick TY make up is. LOL ... As the novel fans, i not used to it. But i love the story so far and Lu Yi is my fav character, both in drama n novel. LOL
