The reason I still can't accept this ending, is because Cheolbong set the bar so high. They're both crazy King and Queen. One of the best OTPs we have in K-dramas!

I'm sure Cheoljong would notice the difference too. He is not stupid but choose to stay with SY for her and baby sake. It's not like there's anything he could do to change that.
You know who is the real victim in this whole mess? It is Cheoljong. Poor boy has been deceived by love twice already. And, there is no way he would feel the same with SY, like he was with SB. Knowing he will never find out the details of SB, hurts me the most.

Bong Hwan doesn't belong in the Joseon era, because he has the whole life in modern day. So Young deserves to come back to her own body and to be with her beloved husband.
Ok! I know Our main character is JBH and Our OTP is BH X CJ, while Choi Jin Hyuk only appeared as a guest role. How could we get it? Do you really expect to see Kim Jung Hyun romance with Choi Jin Hyuk?
I expected this ending. First, this is NOT a BL drama which normally casts as two male actors as leads. If they cast KJH and CJH as leads, it would be BL. Here, we have a normal couple drama leads as KJH and SHS. They won't go that way.

Both dramas were kinda meh for some people. I personally find Doctor Stranger better than Emperor. Except for female lead, DS had very good ML, SFL & SML, performed by good actors like Lee Jong Suk, Kang Sora and Park Haejin. Most viewers including myself are not fond of female lead actress and also her character there. Emperor were a sageuk drama who lost his roots. Even the lead actors, Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Hyun's fans still treated this drama as a nightmare/worst choice in their respective careers. I'm saying that for second female leads in both dramas. Both had love triangles of 1 man with 2 girls. They both had the best SFLs in k-drama history.
