Title 10Dance
Technically amazing movie: the acting was stellar, as I expected - both main leads own their characters and shine in their polar opposite roles. I also appreciated the "untold" emotions, the strong force pulling these two together (or separating them, like a magnet).

Unfortunately I have been forced to practice classical dance my whole childhood and grew to hate anything that is dance-related, so I couldn't really enjoy the setting... but I watched till the end and, if they will ever do a sequel with the ending of the manga AND the 10D competition (and maybe also an ending that is an actual ending), I will watch for sure.

PS, for those saying that the ending wasn't satisfying... I personally felt like their "love relationship" was secondary - the main point for me was in how both Shinyas realized, through and thanks to each other, their inner strenghts, faults, and feelings (both for each other, and for the love of dancing).

Finally managed to watch every episode and catch up - it's a very nice project, building up week after week, with a nice balance of past/present moments (but I prefer their past lifes honestly) and very accurate costume/scenes.

I must agree with those saying, however, that it's incredibly slow - and not in terms of plot (I LOVE slower paced series in which events and feelings unfold step by step) but in terms of actual "slowness", i don't know how to say this: everything happens in slow motion - movements, talks, dialogues, cuts... I usually don't watch at faster speed, but this is the first series ever I have been watching at 1.5 and incredibly it feels normal like that. o.o

Anyway, fun thing - at the beginning of the series I was like: "omg Heng in a funny role, love this!" .... and after few episodes he was running around being a red-eyed angry spirit, and I was like.... "ok, that's more like it!". XD

Oddioooo!!! *_*
This is one of the few series in which we can actually say: every episode is better than the one before, and it never disappoints!

I LOVED the coming out scene with Plub, it didn't feel forced and it underlined the strong bond between the siblings, and also that that Peach is actually thinking a lot about Thee and the dynamics of their relationship. (plus, Bonnie is the cutest girl on earth!)

Another positive note: it keeps being funny as hell! Often these kinds of dramas get a bit more serious as the episodes go on, but here Thee keeps being so over-the-top and so ridiculous, I just can't stop laughing!

Hm, this series has a very interesting "balance" of fluffiness VS mystery: the point is, the fluff is within two people who are actually "acting" like that trying to investigate something, and I find this to be pretty intriguing.

Plus, I think there is way more than a memory loss in Botpleng's condition, and the revelation at the end of ep3 had me thinking, "but WHY would Thanphob do that?"... so yeah, every little mystery brings out a new one.

It's not a very "energetic" or "active" series, it's more mental, but that's just like how series like these are... they develop hint after hint, and we're only on ep3, so we have plenty of more time/episodes to discover more!

Aaaand, finished! It wasn't as addicting as TBOY but it was great in other ways - all the characters were memorable and the fighting scenes were amazing.
I wished we could see more of Sikong Changfeng, he was such a diva I loved him! XD

Maybe it was a bit too much on the romantic side for my taste, but as often happens the "tragic love" storyline is one that moves wars, heroes and legends, as it was the case here, and I loved how all the characters moved according to their principles right to the end.

Now, question for the donghua watchers: are the donghua more faithful to the novels? Because I'm really addicted to this universe and after watching all three series I was thinking about watching the donghuas as we wait for TBOY S2...

8.8 - I'm so happy for this series, it is no masterpiece for sure, but it's such a satisfying watch that it deserves every possible recognition!

Hope you'll enjoy it, fellow Genshin player! :D

Do we know already who's the young ghost girl that helps Thup from time to time, suggesting him things? Like here in ep7 when she was mumbling to his ears while he was jailed.... because I'm starting to think that maybe she might be P'Singha dead sister

Is there any romance in this? Worth watching?
Yes, there is a main couple and also few secondary couples, although the series is not centered on that. As for the worth watching, I personally loved it and it's aesthetically amazing (beautiful costumes, actors, sceneries...) although among the ZMN's stories trilogy is the one I probably liked less (but still loved it!)

XD then we both misunderstood eo, sorry if that happened :)

I was actually genuinely interested in this series, but have way too many dramas on the witchlist so I need to select which ones to start (I don't like dropping series that I started, so I only start things that I'm at least about 85% sure I'm going to like). XD

I'm european but I've been watching asian dramas for more than 20 years now, from any corner of asia (including malaysia, mongolia, indonesia, vietnam, singapore... so not only the "major distributed ones" like thailand or japan or china) - I studied asian languages in uni and i teach japanese poetry, plus play two chinese musical instruments and a japanese musical instrument. :D

That to say: I definitely wouldn't see how that was a racist comment because the question was not cultural-related but simply PLOT related.

The plot looks similar: a shaman protecting a haunted/targeted person. I loved Khemjira (also because the romance wasn't covering the main storyline but was very well integrated in it), so my question was meant to understand if the concept is similar, and the vibes too, so I can enjoy it (or not, on the contrary).

If that sounded racist to you, than I'm sorry, but it wasn't meant to be.

So, I'm at ep22 rn so right in the middle - I'm loving the characters although I can understand those who say there are just too many... this was quite an issue with my first wuxia/xianxia dramas but somehow now I find it's part of the charm. i mean it's just like real life, there are always about too many people XD

Anyway, Dongjun was definitely one memorable character in TBOY so i'm happy to know his background and also where does the friendship among the guardians and Ruofeng stem from... also, ironically the CGI is better than more modern series, although I miss human movements in fights (I get the superpowers, but I'd love to see more swords and spears and qinggong and jumps and so on).

I LOVED the very brief guest appearance from Lee Hong Yi as the Founder Emperor Xiao!
He looks astonishing in red armor <3

But probably the most huge thing I'm loving in both Dashing Youth and TBOY is the female characters: as did Sikong Qianluo and Ye RuoYi in TBOY, also here the female lead is smart and active which is I thing I personally love! I'm still waiting for the second female character in the poster, fingers crossed for her too!

This was very simple, but very real and heartfelt. Loved it.
ZZH is so precious, and for as much as he loves singing, I hope he can also get his acting career back, his resilience and inner strenght are an example - also for so many other chinese artists and personalities who underwent cenesorship or boycott of any sort (and are still undergoing it).

Keep standing up, keep fighting - there are people listening and caring. <3

Zhang Zhe Han, hope to see you soon on screen, shining once again.

I just finished ep 36 and my face is all red and puffy from all the ugly crying. Wen Kexing’s truth confession…
I still watch at least a fanvid every day with the two of them, they are unforgettable - I've been watching asian dramas for more than 20 years now, and I had never been so addicted to a couple. <3

This needed more time for character development, because the plot was pretty full and the themes heavy... all the four actors did a good job (especially the teens), so I got attached to them pretty fast.
Still, it was very good and those few minor flaws (like some audio issues here and there) weren't enough to distract from the overall product. 8.5/10, basically my biggest complain is that it was over too soon.

Music was GREAT, the soundtrack has some amazing songs that I'm sure I'm goint to listen to a lot.

Oh, and thankfully... after the storm we get the start of a sunny day - not for a happy ending, but for a happy new life. <3

I started, then dropped it. Then tried again whilewaiting for something else, but dropped it again. Then gave it another possibility, because BounPrem are BounPrem and I wanted to support them... but no, dropped it again.

Now I just watched ep4 of "Me and Thee" (which was one hell of a ride!) and said: ok got a free evening, let's finish Revamp I have it on hold since ages... but no I just can't. I reached ep6. Put it on 1.5x but still the dialogues are so damn trivial I can't stand it.

I'm sorry Boun & Prem but I'll have to let this one go.

The last scene was epic, but now I'm curious how Thee knew that Peach was in danger, since he showed up so quickly.…
I though the person Peach was on the phone with was Thee (or Mok), when he said "you'll need to take a U-turn there, I'll walk over"
