this episode was a continuous "wtf?" of writing issues for me, in which basically everyone said one thing and then did the opposite, bringing about the very predictable final disaster.

Obviously Xiao Lin died... I was hoping he could survive, but at least he died being true to his proud and regal soul, saving his people and his honour.
I will miss his character deeply.

ARGH! ep 25 had me SO irritated!

Ep 23's battle between Tantai Jin and Xiao Lin is one of the most elegant, scenic and well-made battles I've seen, both in terms of choreography and CGI!

Also: why didn't we get Xiao Lin in black clothes from the start, Deng Wei looks so good in black! I'm really loving his character up to now, I'm curious to see if he turns cruel in some way or if he stays true to himself till the end... it's a pity he loves such a terrible woman tho'!

You used a good term, I agree that he kinda looked like he had lost his soul and strenght... like a shell with no heart anymore.

I get the fact that he's completely broken, and it's only natural because the person he loved the most used him, lied to him and betrayed him... but he's a very intelligent man and he's a person who has always shown propension to dialogue, AND who trusts Phob with his own life, so I would have expected a more clear confrontation between the two.

He's the sweetest, most caring person on earth so I really hope he can have some peace... although the preview for next episode seems quite tragic. Also, I'm curious to see how they can make him go back to Phob, without basically stepping on his own pride after all this mess.

This volunteer torture is the sweetest, saddest moment of the week! T_T

For as much as I'm loving this (probably one of my faves this year together with AWSWtWiSHD), I had some issues with Tinn's complete break down this episode...

Ok, so.... 6eps and 5 years later, but seems like Lil'Jane hasn't learnt a single thing from their past...

But oh well, Big Jane looks even better than in part 1 so I'm on board! XD

I honestly cannot picture how this will end. I really, really hope we can get a HE for these two because they deserve it after so much pain and trauma!

Such a good story and setting... it's a pity the direction isn't one of the best because this series had such a potential! And Bas acting is definitely carrying the feels for me, he portrays Sin with such an intensity and depth that he feels like a person and not a character!

So I finally started bingewatching this and the first thing I must say is: LYX is for sure one of the best wuxia/xianxia actors out there. He's elegant and majestic in a way that can be both regal and devilish, so it's a perfect fit for a character so complex and faceted as Tantai Jin. I'm mostly glued to the screen because his acting is so magnetic!

Unfortunately I'm kind of getting irritated by the whole miscommunication trope that is basically slowing down everything. The first 10/15 episodes were GREAT but now (I'm at ep22) the whole "i love him but i don't know it" is a bit too stretched... and makes me think, how can we make it to 40 episodes? o.o

Anyway the story and the characterization of Tantai Jin is so intriguing... also, kudos to DuDu because she's acting like a real b!tch and I'm hating her character so much! XD

Last episode had me cracking up, I had to stop multiple times because I was crying from laughing too much! XD

All the cameos were chef's kiss, I bet they had so much fun with all the GMMTv gang on set those days! Sea's takes...! XDDDD
I would never be able to see Thee&Peach with other faces, BUT if that were to happen I kinda feel like JuniorMark could be the best doubles... Junior is as crazy/fun/weird as Thee (and an amazing actor to pull off all his quirks) and Mark has the same vibes Phuwin has (I loved how he couldn't stop laughing on scene, lmao, can we blame him? XD)

This was the perfect way to end this tribute to a lovely series! I will miss all these characters, they really grew on me... probably one of the more soothing, heartwarming, funny and positive series ever!

I forgot Bas was in this, with so many series airing these weeks... just bingewatched the first 5eps and I LOVE THIS!

Yes, there are more than a few cringe moments... and yes, I agree with those saying that the intimate scenes were terrible (I would have preferred to see nothing instead of that lifeless and aseptic "love-making" moment...), BUT I am loving Bas as Yue so much! All the nuances in his eyes, light smiles, hand gestures... he's carrying the show for me (the story and plot is great and interesting too but unfortunately the direction and execution lack something).

The flowers moments were so precious, I was smiling from ear to ear and I was so praying and hoping for them to be happy... and the "sun+moon=light" scene had me crying: when I see rough/scarred characters like Yue opening up and becoming the sweetest thing my heart just melts with them!

I will now pause and wait for episode 7 to be out so that I can binge 6&7 together... and then have my heart torn in ep8.

Hmmmm if you haven't seen this one (League of Nobleman), do watch it because it's a great drama - different vibes from MLC, but very interesting plot and charismatic leads with a deep and strong backstory and a huge mystery to be solved.

Also if you haven't seen them, some major titles:

-- FANGS OF FORTUNE: I personally loved the "brotherhood" aspect and the whole team; although it's not about solving mysteries, there is a huge backstory and lots of interesting side characters and side plots (it gets lost a bit in the second part but it's pretty theatrical and enthralling)

-- GUARDIANS OF THE DAFENG: this is more action/comedy and more "individual story" but it definitely keeps you seated from start to finish, and the solving cases parts are intriguing too. the transmigration aspect is pretty funny (the ending is a pretty open one paving the way for a S2 but we're still waiting for it, although rumours say it will start shooting next year)

-- THE SPIREALM: this is set in modern times and it's a huge series with an incredible story. The plot is very interesting, the path to solve all levels is enthralling AND the plot twists keep you glued to the screen!

-- TREASURE AT DAWN: this is actually VERY similar to MLC... it stars Li Hong Yi (who I personally love, although here he's pretty "wooden") as a doctor who solves cases, and the trio of main characters reminds me a lot of our three boys in MLC... the story has some ups&downs and there are some plot holes but it's not too long and the mystery part is pretty fun.

I'm a grandma in disguise! XD Just joking, but yeah I still have my oooooold burned DVDs with the first fansubbed series downloaded bit by bit with eMule... ages to download an episode (or rather: a partition of it!) with a 56k modem! XD

I had a friend who was also a fan, living 45 minutes away from me, and we would regolarly meet and exchange series... since it took ages to download one, we would download different series each and then exchange them. XD

I so agree with this! Somehow there are only three moments/elements in which I think about the "gay" part, and it's when we're either talking or having scenes in:
1. showbiz setting
2. toxic fan setting
3. bigoted business family (CY's dad)
And I feel like it's a choice: it's the only moments in which love and individual happiness are a problem and are not respected.

In all other scenes I just feel like watching shades of humanity bloom or wither, grow and intertwine together with time and nature in a dreamlike setting that envelops rthe soul.

I felt like the HOW he actually died wasn't the point, although I never even for a second thought it was suicide (he was ready to live, to give love and life another chance). The way in which they told this loss was, for me, more of a "some things just happen and you cannot do anything about it". Good things. Bad things. Cruel things. Happy things. Whatever it is, they are just destined to happen in one way or the other.

Although tragic, when the episode ended I was broken inside but at the same time I had this feeling of understanding and acceptance that made the loss painful but, in a way, part of the journey.

Few facts:

1. I'm lowkey convinced this series must be a dehydration test - I cried all my tears the whole episode, AGAIN!

2. Tinn is like the sweetest, most precious creature ever in the BL universe.

3. if ten years ago they would have told me "in the future we'll have BLs with great plot, unique stories and amazing acting" I would never have believed it... I've been watching asian dramas since 1999 and I'm so happy the BL niche has grown so much!

4. Ongsa must be an angel in disguise, boy is the most mesmerizing young thai actor of the year!

And yet, however things are going, this is still such a great series - even something so deep and tragic was intertwined with past memories and stories and somehow I could feel this was the direction it was taking... because sometimes life steals your long-awaited happiness when you were finally ready to accept it.

TayNew can always make my day, they are so natural together be it in comedic or romantic scenes! I liked the show, and I especially loved the characters - special kudos to Ryu because he really made huge steps forward acting-wise and his pairing with Mond is really working well!

Oh, and also: how can Dew be so damn goodlooking, I get distracted at every scene!

Ok so, for me: Thun is the mastermind behind the killings, he's not the actual killer but he instigated others to kill corrupted people (and he will keep doing it, since in the preview we see that something will still happen although they jailed someone) so that he can have the scoops AND avenge something that is connected with Phat/Praew father and Kay's family.
