I can't stop crying and it's neither because of sadness nor happiness: it's because this has been such an incredible journey that I just can't bring myself to believe it's really finished. My heart is filled with so many thoughts and emotions, I am so grateful to all the crew and cast of this masterpiece.
10/10, but it would deserve more. I can't wait to rewatch it!

I watched the anime once, but I've read the manga tons of times... back when it was published in Italy in 2002, and recently I bought a new restored version. It's actually a shoujo since it was serialized on Betsucomi, but the m/m relationship of the two male leads has made history.
Do look it up, if you manage to find it! The plot is also very good!
Ok I just started the new episode and after the first few minutes I had to stop to come here and say: if Dew doesn't get all the awards in the world for this performance, I'mma become Nekros myself. Boy is he amazing! Such a talented and multifaceted actor!

I can understand - I haven't read the novel and probably never will, but I suppose there is a HUGE worldbuilding behind it with much more to be said and told! For me the problem isn't the numbers of episodes per se, but the way in which the whole secondary part (except for final 3/4 eps) was written: in a draggy and often "stupid" way. :(

Unfortunately I'm not a great fan of his acting, which is basically bidimensional, but he can definitely look like the creepiest man out there! His role here is pretty interesting and the other team members work pretty well together too... hopefully Shida Mirai's character too will smoothen a bit through the episode because as of now it's a bit heavy and pushy. ^^'
