I’m going to be honest, I’m not feeling FaifaWine so far. I know it’s only their first episode and they…
I haven't read the novel nor spoilers from it, but when when Faifa said "he's not like the others" I kinda put 1+1+1 together and built my crazy theory: since Faifa is so "friendly, touchy and pleasing" with everyone, this attitude might have "fooled" some people into believing he has a crush towards them and therefore they asked for more - being that Faifa doesn't know/want to say NO, he didn't... fooling them even more into believing there's something.
(sorry, this is just a fantasy projection, ahaha XD)
I'm pretty torn on this one! It was a good drama, with good acting from the leads (I think these two ladies acted…
And PS, I kept thinking what a great casting they did with Tin's character's younger version, and turns out it's Na's brother... no wonder he looked perfect for the role! XDDD
I'm pretty torn on this one! It was a good drama, with good acting from the leads (I think these two ladies acted way better than some other overrated GL ships, so I don't get the comments against them) and some secondary characters (Na above every one, he was so intense!).
The story was intriguing and I loved how they built up the mystery over the killer's identity... I think the main problem was that basically everyone was stupid, doing stupid things in stupid moments for stupid reasons, lacking any form of common sense that a so-called police inspector should have. And that ruined it for me, because some choices really felt surreal (like the very common "i'm not a policeman but i'll still go there alone without telling anyone").
That said, kudos to the team because all in all it was a good product. We need more GL dramas like this one! Nice and engaging stories, showing working women making the world spin!
8/10 for me because every GL needs a 0.5 bonus more! :)
Ok so I was very excited seeing Na as "main" here, but turns out he's the one who dies in the beginning... so probably very little screentime. Sigh! :(
And, it's over! I'll be honest, I played the last episode 2x... I love all the guys, I loved the idea, but it just felt too long and even boring at times. It never really "clicked" for me, although I objectively appreciated it a lot and it did have some great moments and characters.
Sidenote, since we saw the mother, I would have liked to know what happened to Keen and Thanon after those 5 years too.
This was such a lovely and interesting show, mixing funny moments with travelling and culture... and both Pond and Phuwin were great hosts! It'd be lovely to see another series like this!
I'm loving this as much as the japanese original! I can't stop laughing at every episode and when I'm not it's only because my heart is melting out of cuteness overload or from the deeper moments! <3
The Boss is a totally different character but I like the choices they made with him, it makes the whole series more interesting and relatable!
I can't stop saying that whoever paired Bonnie and Sing as siblings is a genius. These two have the same adorable eyes and cheeks and round cutie face. <3
This might very well be one of the worst mothers ever - the only good thing of her appearance in this episode is that we got a wonderfully acted emotional scene in which both Junior and Perth were A M A Z I N G. I cried all my tears together with them, and I especially felt for Faifa because the poor guy's basically being abandoned again and again by this disgraceful woman, both in facts and in words!
Loved the ending of YothaGun story, although some things were definitely rushed... but this final episode was so funny, the questionnaire scene was hilarious!
Faifa still my favourite character from beginning till here... plus, loved his singing! I never noticed Junior had such a nice and mellow voice! Can't wait to see FaifaWine story!
If you don’t mind me explaining 🙏🏼…Actually, Haguwara Kazuaki was supposed to send the email to himself,…
I wondered about that too, and honestly since Fujisawa is basically controlling everything in Nakarai's life, I thought that the mail were similar because Fujisawa himself created the mail for Nakarai using his own name, like a dog who's marking the territory... and therefore also being able to check the mails in case something happens.
People whose opinion I respect said this is really good, but Ep 1 is like watching paint dry. Does it get good…
First episode was pretty slow and introductive, I'd agree - and to be honest there is never a "point" in which things get "more"-something. It just gets deeper and deeper, slowly and inexorably, although there are some moments in which you feel a big drop has fallen and it has almost filled the vase. I don't know how to say it, but it's like watching something slowly falling and sinking into some kind of depths and just standing there, being unable to lift a finger.
(But I think you either would love this, or find it completely boring - no inbetween).
Nooooo T_T The cast was so interesting, but I guessed so since Junior is pretty busy being a main lead on other series now that JuniorMark's ship set sail...
Yes yes I know, and since he's been doing support/guest roles since forever, somehow I kinda understand his choice - he's a good actor and he has proven it throughout all his (support) roles up to now, so I would have loved to see him at least in a second male lead character... GMMTv aside, I hope he's happy wherever he goes and whatever project he's doing (be it with his girlfriend or not). <3
For as much as I love FirstKhao and Joong, this drama lacks something for me and it just can't keep me wanting for more. I think they stretched it way too much with so many long, slooooooooow and overly repetitive dialogues and that basically contrasts with the dynamic idea and characters.
All boys are giving it their all, and although I keep on NOT liking Dunk as an actor (mind, I'm not an anti-fan: he's a great idol, MC and a very funny yet professional guy), I must admit he did get better and better since his beginnings. Still, his problem is that "it shows that he's acting" - it's in his movements, gestures, posture, face... but anyway, I'm loving his character and all in all I can bear with it because he does have such an amazing chemistry with Joong.
I just found the time to go through episodes 9, 10 and 11 and as I'm watching episode 10 I absolutely had to stop to say: how good does Pepper look in that all-grey outfit? *_*

And... Devil Earth, I need one too please. :D

Fun thing is, it was actually the part I was LESS interested in when the drama began... but Faifa grew on me so much, I can't wait to see more!

But jeez I need Tonnam in a series soon T_T
