the team did such an amazing job actually with what source and reference they have! the anime is waaay less serious…
thanks for the info! I only noticed later that it's taken from a manga and I was interested in giving it a try, but I might just skip it knowing that it's pretty silly XD
I was curious to check this "8.7" series and I'm actually pretty surprised by it - now I'm bingewatching out of the incredible sexyness of Akin and I just finished ep8. To be honest, although the plot is pretty futile and the storytelling not the best, the chemistry between these two guys makes it up for all the other missing points.
Boom's such a good actor AND one hell of a hot guy! His eyes and smile are gold!
why 9/10? any movie that leaves me sobbing is a 10/10 for me
Eheheh, there are so many movies that left me sobbing through all these years! Although all of them touched me, there are some which are better than others in terms of plot, directing, cinematography... there are so many factors linked in making a movie a great one! And 9 is already a very high rate. :)
This was a great watch! Funny, entertaining, veeeeeeery thai! It did have some plotholes and questionmarks but it was a fun ride and all the crew did a wonderful job. Loved the theme, I'm always happy when I see a Thai movie that's neither horror nor love... I honestly had no idea the amulet business was something so big and all the characters were so interesting that kept me glued on screen. Well done, P'Pe!
This was a fun watch, basically like Mrs.Doubtfire but in Korean and on a plane! XD
It was hilarious at times, and the ML really shined... it could honestly have been a bit better in terms of characterization but the goal of making us laugh out loud was 100% reached!
I never watched a reality show in my life, even when the first "big brother" came out and everyone was crazy about it - but, i was pretty curious about this one because: 1: it's japanese, which means it's going to be deep 2: the coffee shop idea is refreshing and interesting
I kinda had the impression that some moments were planned (although not scripted), and I thought the hosts were unnecessary, but it was a refreshing show on a group of people's life with friendship, respect, ups&downs, talks...
It was a 9/10 for me because all the boys and their dynamics grew on me a lot, especially Alan (but ALL of them were lovely humans) who's such a sweet person! But i honestly wouldn't label it as a "dating show", because the thing I got less interested in was the dates...! XD
What a beautiful show - as always in J-BLs, you get teleported into a bubble that embraces you with feelings... this was so heartwarming, and I loved how both leads progressed and healed their inner self through the episodes, becoming the better versions of themselves.
After watching "Balloon's Landing" I had a huge FandyFanNostalgia moment and rewatched this show for the N-time... always a nice watch, entertaining, comfy, fun but also with some heartfelt moments and great acting from both leads.
I still can't believe we never got a sequel to this...I would have loved to see the team win the school championship!
Amazing visuals and acting (Fandy Fan will always be one of my crushes from the early BL days till forever, and he's such a fine man here!), the story was so interesting and executed in a way that was dreamy and soft as well as deep and intense. Loved it, somehow it was like watching a Ghibli movie, BUT in chinese and with real actors.
I'll never get MDL ratings... this show has started in such a good way: great cast, great acting, fun and interesting concept, nice visuals... also the music is nice! Can't wait for next episodes!
Ok, it just finished yesterday, and here I am today already hoping for a S2 with another trio of perfect 10-liners to have 6 other months of pure happiness, chaos, giggles and loads of smiles! I miss them so much already!
The actors did very well, tho'! Especially the boy!

Also, the OST is remarkable, very catchy and a perfect fit for the movie!

Plus, Tane was the cutest kid ever in a drama!

PS, loved the first episode, although the pacing felt a bit "strange" for me. But it was veeery interesting, can't wait for next weeks!
