✨ Emotional take – Romeo & Mercutio audition scene ✨I still can’t get over that audition. On the surface,…
AND the fact that they chose that piece for the audition at that exact moment and with those people was of great symbolic value. I loved that moment!

Watch it! I just started and bingewatched the first 4eps and is lovely, I don't get the rating... it deserves a 7.5 at least!

Ok, I just started this series and I must stop after the first minutes of episode 1 to say: I already have the…
Aaaaand after episode 4 I'm still into it - although Victor is also such a nice character!

I'm loving this series, it deserves way more attention: the acting is great (aside for the "comical female characters" that instead of being funny are irritating...), the OST is so damn catchy and the cinematography is dreamy and smooth.

(I will get stoned for this but, to be honest, I am slightly bothered by all the fanservice on the boys' bodies... I get it, they have AMAZING abs and bodies, but do we really need 10mins of shower scene? ^^' Not that I don't like watching them, but it feels too much. ^^)

This episode definitely delivered all the different situations: Chakri rocks, Ava rocks even more (go girl!) and there were no unnecessary fake dialogues or filler scenes. Calvin and Jay look so cute, it's the 2cp I'm more invested in and I hope we can get more and more from them.

Sidenote: the bedroom scene was really well executed AND shirtless Charan in the stable was the bonus candy I didn't know I needed. :DDDD

Came here this week to say the same thing :D

Tell me I'm not the only one who got teary-eyed when Phi turned down Tam's kiss in the bedroom...! I was expecting that, obviously, but that moment felt so painful from both sides that it just hit me so hard! :(

That said, a great episode telling lots about their past, their bonding, their personality and also progressing on their tv-show! Can't wait for next week!

I was really looking forward to Saint's main role, and I actually like Poom too (I love his looks and he has a good balance when acting, although I'm sure he can get even better), but I'm really struggling to stay awake while watching this series and I don't understand why, but I think as of now it feels pretty slow and without a "clear" plot, or objective, or path.

I love all the characters, the funny moments are indeed funny, and the rural setting is just my cup of tea... BUT the dynamics between Yo and Jom are so strange. Plus I don't see why everyone has it against Yo, who's been pretty brave in his younger years and got punished for that... if it were me I would be proud of my son for protecting a friend and trying to report an abusive teacher (although violence is never a solution so they shouldn't have kicked the guy...)!

I just started episode 3 and I kinda like it, but not as much as I had hoped I would.
Anyway, I really want to understand why Saint chose to act in this series, so I'll keep following... plus HENG's in it too so gotta watch his performance too!

So, Thada is the new Mr. Purple Roses, but here we're talking cinema instead of theatre! =D

I must admit the second episode started off a bit disconnected - the dialogues in the pool scene were not the best (yes, I know, dialogues weren't the main protagonists of that moment, but... XD) although both Pond and PeterPan acted the best way possible... aside from that, another great episode!

The manager is my new personal hero and his english accent is so damn sexy!

1. First off, Charan has a trauma from watching his mother’s death. You can’t just get through that all of…
First of all, thank you for answering. I'm not "glossing over" the episodes, it's just that personally I think there are better ways to write a plot/happenings/flashbacks and so on, characterizing people and moments in a way that makes the storytelling round, instead of flat... and, most of all, creating a flow of narrative that here lacks. The feeling you get here is "bits and pieces" that are not well connected.

About Charan - yes, we understood the trauma. They showed us and told us, and obviously it's a hard thing to deal with: nobody denies that losing a parent is a trauma. The point is, that happened when he was 6yo: when the story takes place he's, what, 30? Which alone doesn't mean he should have overcome that trauma, but he's depicted as a super royal guard so the fact that the whole court would hand their prince to a person who freezes anytime it rains, feels completely off to me. I mean: it just feels like a plot device - I don't know if I explain myself.

I haven't read the novel so thanks for the other points (although when producing a media, a good director/writer should write things so that the story is accessible and understandable completely for the viewers), I'm pretty sure we'll get some flashbacks or explanation for RamilPaytai dynamics, or at least how they clashed/met/bonded.

As for the paintings, I agree that art is personal - but not all written poems are masterpieces and not all painted pictures are work of arts. Personally I found (almost) all the paintings shown up to now to lack character, personality. But again, realism nor romanticism is def my type of preferred art, so I'm not saying it's bad - just, didn't shine to me - you know, that feeling when you see a painting and you say, OMG this looks phantastic I want to bring it home and hang it *there*.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer - I'm sorry I might be overly critical, although to say the truth I'm still watching the show with interest... but I'm always discouraged when I hear they spent what, 30mln baht?, on the production of a drama and then the plot and the dialogues are all over the place (not only this one, generally talking, since unfortunately it happens pretty often).
On The Next Prince Jun 8, 2025
Oh, c'mon... the directors and writers of this drama were sleeping during their "how to build a good plot" lessons?

I'm sorry but, for as much as I'm loving the costumes and some secondary characters (like Calvin and JJ, of whom we still haven't seen much) AND the basic storyline... there are SO MANY things that just aren't working.

-1- Charan: when he started to cry under the rain I though "man, he really is Batman then!!", but after a split second I got a HUGE flashback from a very cringe series that I can't recall (the tuxedo maybe? or the one with the MLs getting deaf when it rains?) and I thought, "not another grown adult getting a total absurd phobia over something that a professional royal guard (PROTECTING A PRINCE!) should def have overcome already..."

-2- Khanin: he didn't want to be a prince but looks like he loves ordering around... yay, let's go buy some priceless pearls to see their colours, just because we can! (that said, I kinda like the fact that he's very straightforward with Charan and basically with everyone)

-3- the two weird toxic obsessive guys. please. i have nothing against fetishes of any kind, you're free to do whatever you want in your bedroom, dress up as princess Leia or Hercules or whatever, BUT! their characters are just "the ones we need to put some spice and maybe some NC later on", with zero to no context and horrible dialogues. o.o

-4- emmaly's idea of hospitality is pretty weird - maybe leaving a foreign prince alone to get drunk by himself and then get lost doesn't feel like the best idea ever? I know we need a device to let him meet Jay, but maybe find a better one?

-5- Ava. Can we get some backstory for this girl? Can she be the next prince please?

-6- those paintings. no half of them were so-so and half of them were adifferentwayofsoso. def not masterpieces anyway. they look like those prints you buy at some random old guy's stalls for 0.99 cents. sigh.

this post might end up containing too many numbers, so i'll just go to sleep.
(anyway - the kiss at least had a beautiful build-up and tension, I loved it, it gave me butterflies! and I'll still watch to see where everything is going, although I can't believe this has an 8.3 rating...)
for some reason, this is kinda like "battle of the writers" for me... quite absurd and abundantly cringe, BUT i keep showing up every week to see how it continues!
On The Ex-Morning Jun 5, 2025
I'm torn - this was a phantastic episode acting-wise and I lovelovelove TamPhi dynamics...
BUT
I had a moment of "don't make it so simple" when Jamie's character told Tam "you made Phi like this when you disappeared" - somehow that scene felt so "scripted", I really wish they had found a different way to make Tam realize how/when/why Phi changed (although I'm pretty sure he knew and realized already, and guilt was also probably among the reasons he decided to come back).

Anyway - another great episode: Nudee is such a cute character, and Aou can act as the most b!tchy character ever yet he still looks great to me. XD

Oh, my... so many series these days, I totally forgot this one was airing too!
Well well, time to start bingewatching to make up for the missed episodes... XD
Oh my, what an unexpected hidden gem this show was, I'm so happy I discovered it!
I bingwatched it because I couldn't stop, every episode was just the right lenght but always leaving me wanting for more.

Great acting from the boys, somehow it felt like a theatrical dance at the beginning, and then kept flowing into a very natural chemistry episode after episode. When they were close, the magnetic force and the sparkles were palpable!

Kudos to the crew, they put so much heart and soul and effort into it!

Ahahaha that nightmare had me scared so much! XD I woke up and I was like: WTF??

But yeah, through the years I've seen so many ships ending, or idol groups disbanding... you never know when it might happen again! And since some of my most loved ones are not that young anymore (OffGun and TayNew, for example), I guess soon they'll start focusing on real life and leave the BL panorama. (maybe they'll keep acting in their ships, but since BL fandom is so toxic, I'm afraid that "personal life + BL work" might be hard to combine...)

But as of now, that was just my nightmare, no worries! XD

Acting is getting better and better.
Gun/Pond medication scene was heartwrenching, Dew's evil laughs were eerily crazy and everyone rocked their roles - if all GMMTV's shows out there had only half of the acting of this one, we'd have masterpieces after masterpieces!!

I can't imagine a Pond/Gun ship BUT in last weeks I'm dreaming about a Dew/Gun ship (or rather, as a Babii, I'm having nightmares about it... I had a dream in which Off left the BL world because he got engaged to Kapook and GMMTV knew it already so they prepared the road ahead with "leap day" and "burning syndrome"... yes, I know, I've got some problems XD)
