Finally one WHOLE episode without any Somo parts! \o/I'm fully prepared for next week, I suppose I'll cry rivers…
Up until this episode I thought Victor died while returning to Taiwan and that was the reason for TK not receiving any mail... BUT the package with the money and the photos was a surprise! the preview for next week shows TK crying over Victor (or rather, Victor's twin), but the scene in which he was crying holding the wooden puppy gifted from Nankrai left me thinking that maybe it's Nan who's going to die in the end... aaaaaaargh, I'm torn between wanting next week to come, and being afraid for it to come! XD
Finally one WHOLE episode without any Somo parts! \o/ I'm fully prepared for next week, I suppose I'll cry rivers AND I have a bad feeling about this... in spoiler!
Question: how old are the characters meant to be? Around 25yo? Tontae looks so young and yet he's 37yo... o.o
First episode was great, but second one was splendid! I almost couldn't breathe through it all, everyone is doing an excellent job, plus settings and cinematography are top and the music is so enchanting and delicate...! Can't wait for next week.
Sidenote: I'm loving how Great is giving nuances to his character - Thee has this warm and at the same time constraint aura that makes him look like a completely different person from his other characters (like Yoryak or inspector M).
Omg what did I just watch, this movie was so incredibly beautiful! Amazing cinematography, good acting, emotional music, nice costumes AND a great story built in the perfect way! Loved it!
This was really such a great episode! I loved how the atmosphere was mature and all their reactions were balanced and pretty realistic - it really feels like a "normal" ex/ex situation with sparkles and chemistry AND still many threads to follow and/or untangle.
Singto is so beautiful, he's at the same time a cute puppy AND a very fine goodlooking man.
Sidenote - I was pretty surprised by Ohm, he's one fine guy but he never really "acted"... this episode he managed to deliver all his lines with conviction and he even displayed emotions on his face! My hopes are rising for "My Romance Scammer"!
This was one of the better acted series ever from GMMTV, kudos to all of the cast and crew.
It did have some flaws here and there, but for me is a 10/10 because in a schedule full of overly repeated tropes and cringe dramas only milking ships, series like this one deserve all the recognition ever.
I'm sad it ended, but it was the most logical ending possible. Now let's stay tuned for more...
This was pretty good, although I'm kinda biased when it comes to chinese costume-dramas... I really wish I could live in a world where people go around dressed like that, they all look awesome! *_*
That said, the story was nice and it could have worked as a longer drama too, the main leads had a pretty nice chemistry and I loved how their relationship built up.
I usually hate multilanguage series because they come off as cringey and confused and "unlikely"... but this one feels so natural and sweet, I love how TK and Victor interact with just few words and always try to understand each other - - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, and yet they are connected by the same feelings and vibes. It's just so heartwarming!
I cried so much this episode! For as much as I'm #teamnankrai, TK and Victor's deep sadness melted my heart. <3 And I really love how much TK is being proud of his culture and home, and how he keeps giving and giving and giving to Victor... they really feed happiness one another.
#iwannakisstada might be the best hashtag ever... holy moly isn't Peterpan one fine man...! And the kiss scenes? THE KISS SCENEEEES!!!! *_*
PS, this show is really my guilty pleasure, there are starting to be quite a few things feeling off in terms of plot, but our boys are so beautiful to watch together that I can forgive whatever!
No he won’t be that ex, they are already together when he appears. He did something very bad to Jom. It’s…
OK, so as almost always, he will portray a bad character XD but I am a bit sorry if you say so, because it means that he won’t appear during next episode either T_T
This really cracked me up - both actors were amazing in their roles, and especially Abe Alan was so crazy swinging from "serious professional" to "otaku stan" and all the "longing moments" in between. Loved it, now on to S2!
Zee looks at the same time "cuter and cuter every episode", and "hotter and hotter every episode". I don't know how he manages to do so, but that's a fact and it's factualizing. :D
this episode could have been great (and i loved the backstory from ramil/paytay although the flashbacks were pretty roughly inserted and chaotic) but the politics were randomly thrown on the plate so it felt a bit "off" to me. A lot of things happened though, and most of the characters looks more and more suspicious at every episode!
ZeeNunew are a great couple - I'm not from their fandom and this is the first series I'm watching with them (I started because the plot looked interesting) but their interactions are really natural and smooth. Thei would have benefitted a better scriptwriter tbh, but they were so damn beautiful on that horseriding moment at sunset that I can forgive any cringe dialogue.
Looking forward for next week, hoping for more (and better) Net/JJ moments!
why do I have a strong feeling that either charan or kanin is the son of Prince wasin ( mostly charan) I'm sure…
I thought Calvin might be his son...! Also given the fact that the actors have a similar skin/hair complexion.... plus Wasin said "would approximately be your age" but Charan is about 10 years older than Khanin, right?
Just last week I was asking myself, "When will Heng appear?" and I suppose he's going to be "the ex that comes back and makes the two leads realize they're in love".
I love Yo and Poom's acting but, I must say, Jom is not my cup of tea: he never lets Yo explain himself, he doesn't trust him, he doesn't listen to him. After all that Yo has made up to now, he should have realized immediately that something was off with the "drug addict story" but instead he just jumped on him... poor Yo! Once again he shows he loves and cares for his friends (although a smarter move would have been to go directly to Jom or to the inspector instead of trying to solve things alone...).

And can we stop a moment and appreciate the OST?
