When most people said Phupa is coward just because he didn't tell Nan about his feeling. I feel him. I once express…
I can understand this, I’ve been thru it too, but… but: 1. disappearing for 10 years without any notice 2. knowing your friend is desperately looking for you 3. asking your family to lie to cover the fact that you’re lying too 4. coming back without notice and moving next door 5. still keep on lying 6. still keep on not saying anything 7. disappearing again making him go thru the same pain all over again
I think if you really love someone, you won’t be so cruel towards him.
Such an amazing surprise… a very well done drama, addicting!!
I bingewatched all episodes without noticing it was 4am in the morning… but jeez, now I wish I waited for the series to be over before starting it, it’s so heartfelt and powerful…!
So I was thinking, does anyone else got the vibe that there may have been another guy in Jae Won's past? Because…
Agreed! I have the feeling that Jae Won came out to her, before or during the military, and that’s the real reason they broke up… so she knows that he’s gay but she can’t accept it.
Maybe Phupha has his seasons for leaving.I wonder what happened that night they got drunk.I have my own thoughts…
For sure he has - I think they kissed that night, or at least they were about to, when something occurred (my idea is: Nan not being ready to accept the nature of his love for Phupha and therefore rejecting him in a bad way).
Whatever the reason, 10 years of ghosting a person who cares for you is not the solution. :( Let’s see how it turns out, I can’t wait for these 9 days!
I'm so, so torn about this show... the prequels were great: simple but with nice mood and acting... whereas in these first 5 episodes Phupha's actor is so stiff and the direction is so sloppy... I don't mind the moments of comedy but they're often just totally random...
I'm really loving Nanfah and feeling for him (both as a character and as an actor, kudos to Kiak!), he really deserves an explanation: he has grown so much as a person, while Phupha is still the same old coward of 10 years ago.
After a shitty day&week at work, episode 6 was a blessing. 💛 I’m starting to become a ForceBook fan, they’re so fun together! Right now this is my comfort drama: it’s fun, cute, lighthearted but not childish.
Somehow I always get mesmerized by Japanese BLs, there's always this special aura... just like if you were in a bubble together with the drama and its characters.
Loved both actors and their chemistry, and the soft and silken lights and cinematography. The story was a bit "uhm?" but I felt like it really wasn't the focus of it all so it didn't bother me. In the end you'll be like: "see? love conquers all" and "things can't get erased, everything that goes somehow comes back". Sometimes, a bit of gold in the cracks make for a beautiful kintsugi even in relationships.
I will rewatch it for sure, to catch further details and get back into this bubble!
ngl I've had low expectations for MBS' Tunku Shower when it started out. Mr. Unlucky started on a high yet quickly…
"""Kosuke-san, who we all loved as Katori in Takarakun and Amagikun, was equally spectacular as Fumiya here. He's got a real bright future ahead of him."""
Holy... I didn't realize it was him, I had to go check to see who Katori was in that series! It's amazing what makeup and good acting can do...! XD
I discovered this just after having already begun the longer Promise series… the mood is pretty different but I loved how they perfectly fit all the emotions in these two mirroring episodes. Well done! And I so, so, so feel for them! A perfect portrayal of unrequited love that wastes a lifetime.
Now… let’s keep waiting the next three weeks to continue the series. 😅
I loved S2 much more than S1 - I still have some issues with Hira’s character but we are given many more info about him and his past trauma, so we can somehow see thru his actions and attitudes. Hagiwara’s acting is great (it’s not an easy role!), but I found Kiyoi to be so much more layered and interesting! Yagi’s eyes were so deep, and his expressions so heartfelt!
I wasn’t expecting to like this, but I do: probably because i’m living a mess in my life rn and I definitely need something easy, fun, even stupid at times.
Thor is a damn fine guy! And so is Force… I’m not a ForceBook fan but I totally get Force’s fans, his body and face are perfect.
I’m loving Gun’s character and his subtle expressions, and he’s showing great growth and well paced development. Kudos to all the friendly characters around them! I love when we see good friends in a drama.
Only complaint: Book’s over acting. It feels Cher is not just “energic”, but overly childish, idiotic and out of place. I get that they need to show his growth but… meh.
I finally finished this, and the first and most important thing I will and must say is: PERTH. Many hearts and sparkles and fireworks for this boy, because every inch of him screams GREAT ACTOR and omg he acts with his whole body, eyes, gestures, voice… woah, he was way beyond anyone else.
That said, I’ll recompose myself. XD
This show deserved everything from a 5 to a 10, where 5 was the plot execution and storytelling, 8 was the music and landscapes, 9 was cinematography and 10 was obviously… Perth’s acting :D Jokes aside, I loved the series but it was so unreal that it felt absurd and totally disconnected. PondPhuwin were great: they did amazingly better than FUTS and they definitely deserve a better project because they are a wonderful onscreen duo.
1. disappearing for 10 years without any notice
2. knowing your friend is desperately looking for you
3. asking your family to lie to cover the fact that you’re lying too
4. coming back without notice and moving next door
5. still keep on lying
6. still keep on not saying anything
7. disappearing again making him go thru the same pain all over again

I know it’s trite and so many things are off, but ep7 had me giggle for 45 mins straight… and Force. Force!
PS, what’s the problem with doors in thai houses? Was every character in a drama raised in a barn? ^^

Anyway, I’m hooked!
But the most important thing: I NEED MORE YACHT! He’s gorgeous in whatever role, those blue hair were so cool!!
That said, I’ll recompose myself. XD

8/10 and I need more Perth. <3
