Ahahah, I'm feeling so old rn , '87 here and I feel all these newborn idols are my sons and daughters! Cheering for them to be tomorrow's next stars. <3
Finally, it's over. I'm going to miss the guys, but not the drama per se... I loved almost all characters and their dynamics but the storytelling was a gigantic MEH.
I agree about lips/chest, but the rest of your comment is perfect for April fool's. so silly
Honestly, I commend New and all the fellow actors and staff of this drama for taking this project: it's clearly NOT a BL in absolutely any way, it's a comedy but still manages to touch on very important aspects of sex/love (...and selfrespect, recognition, freedom, lgbtq community, generation gap, women rights...) by being fun and light (but never trite). Some comedy moments are over-acted, but that's a comic style and it's a given in a humorous fantasy like this one.
Another great episode, filled with fun, support, warmth, cuteness, growth. The only thing that felt a bit too abrupt was Sound/Win becoming so close so fast... but I won't complain because I love them too, and I hope we can get more.
Could joe be asexual? Could that be the reason that he's not enjoying himself? Cos it be he needs an emotional…
He says the problem lies with him, so yeah, I thought the same - he might be asexual or find it hard to label himself into a gay relationship (although he looks out of the closet aside from school's work).
They are probably the couple (even as single individuals, not just romantically speaking) I'm more invested in right now, I'm really curious to see how it turns out...
At this point, I would love to see Jean end up with Tony and Alex end up with Kat in this "parallel older universe" line - even though I perfectly know everthing will be "deleted" when Alex manages to go back to the past and change the party's night mistakes.
Finally I managed to start bingewatching this and it's probably the best airing series now! Hilarious, witty, serious but never boring, depicting so many issues and topics with a fun yet precise attitude - all the actors are doing great but I'm personally in love with Army's and Kat's characters. Sing is giving an amazing performance and so is everyone else!
This series has huge plotholes, BUT Pond/Phuwin are both so magnetic and Perth/Chimon are making me wait for their forthcoming series so much...!
Top cringe moment: the wedding proposal... who would friendly hug and patpat his husband-to-be after a confession, and then patpat two random youngsters while watching the proposal video on a phone? Meh.
Loving: Palm's eyes always looking for Nueng. Nueng opening up. Pond and Nueng smiles, how can their smiles be so bright? Palm's mother saying how too much love is a cage (still, you had a baby to care for, so running is NOT the right solution...).
The boys acting has really improved a lot, kudos to Pond and Phuwin!
alright with all the hype and visualy pleasing sceneries i decided to give this a chance, but i'm on the 3rd episode…
Honestly I feel that too, but it does get better - IF you can overlook the absurd plot holes along the way. XD Somehow it falls "flat" storywise and with character depiction, but the acting from Perth and Chimon is top and Pond/Phuwin chemistry is also pretty good; music is also a plus.
Some screenwriters/directors need a fast-course on how to manage time: we had so much material to work with, but it got completely overlooked throughout episodes 3-10 and now we get everything crammed in episodes 11-12 (IF not completely ignored).
Tul is still my favourite character: P'Tul, P'Waan doesn't deserve you, come home with me! XD I need Yacht to star in a better role/drama.
Lots of love to Manow and Pruek. Lots, lots, loooots of love!
Ok so let me guess: in ep 11 we'll almost get the confession BUT they'll get interrupted, only to finally say "i love you, will you be my boyfriend" in ep 12... as if we REALLY needed that after everything that they've gone through.
WinTeam I love you, BounPrem I love you more, but... you deserved better: all in all I'm still enjoying the show but it feels so trite...
Honestly, this series started with the most trite plot but it's definitely the best BL series airing now AND one of the best that has aired in the last years. This is the proof that good actors, good directors, good script can make the simplest thing become gold.
Kudos to all the people involved in this series: I hope it stays at the top, because right now Friday is my favourite day of the week thanks to MSP! <3
After episode 4 I was staying because of Perth, and I'm still here for that... but ep5 was so eventful and rich in emotions that now I just want to see where we're going. I was pleasently surprised by the kiss, proving that Nueng/Ben's kiss was static for a precise reason.
Sidenotes: Maggie is lovely; Palm's father is a teddybear in disguise acting as a bodyguard (I don't know why, but I just can't see him fit for his role); Palm removing the cast was an "incredible hulk" moment; after Oh!MySunshine I can't admit any color aside from white, for a BL horse!
Right now, my conclusion is this -- Pond and Phuwin don't fit the concept of the series. Nothing has clicked for…
Agreed! It's like Palm was sent as child to a far-far-away island to train as a future ninja bodyguard but nobody knows about it, not even himself, and then his dad pops out of the blue telling him to become the new saint seiya... o.o
Palm and Nueng have nice dynamics, but it feels like they are going on a different direction that anything/anyone else in the show.
...ok, I just can't seem to get over Ohm wearing black trousers and black patent leather shoes at the swimming pool. o.o
That said: I know it's a drama and it's fiction and whatever, but the fact that a 20ish boy who's supposed to be a swimming athlete has such an unsolved trauma related to swimming is just absurd.
I need more Yacht, prettyplease?

Now, let's go to the beach next week! Yay!
