I'd have to agree with your sister - I'm neither a Pond nor a Phuwin fan but I must admit they're acting fine here, Phuwin is not given an easy character (Nueng is an asshole but with so many levels of emotion and inner trauma/fight that it's very difficult to portray) and Pond is almost always shirtless or with tanktops so that's fine enough =D
But yes, we were given quite a shocking intro with: an assassination in Batman style; a fisherman becoming a bodyguard without a clear reason; bullying in a school for rich people that looks like a bronx's place in terms of building and population; an 18yo guy who's supposed to be sweet and cute but has to run an empire and nobody knows how he's gonna make it; Perth who's there and that's enough for me... and many more things, but now we're at ep4 and basically all the strings are still loose plus we've got many more random content that doesn't fit the atmosphere of the drama.
Mind me, I'm still following because it's quite fun and entertaining but... I just can't feel the hype.
I kinda fail to "feel" this show. I like all characters and all dynamics but somehow for me something's missing and I don't even know what exactly. I keep on watching because Perth manages to catalyze attention even acting for 5 mins out of 50 of a show: his acting skills are always superb in whichever role he takes.
Aside from Earth/Mix, the other ships in the cast (Gemini/Fourth and KhaoFirst) will be actual ships here too? If that's so, then we are really graced by GMM...!
Since we had the usual newyear's break I bingewatched this series without expecting much (""another school BL""), but... I had a blast! I laughed so much, had so much fun and smiled at all the cute interactions between both the leads and the friends! I'm in love with Tiw, his facial expressions are priceless and so is his humour! XD
Special kudos to Fourth who has the brightest smile ever and is giving a great performance.
Sidenote: best guys in tuxedo ever (I thought "Tuxedo the series" gave us the best ones, but, here we go!)

Just finished episode 3 (after weeks of trying not to fall asleep) -- I'm really really REALLY trying to like this series since I was looking forward for more lesbian dramas, but... I'm not a huge fan of either actresses and I find them somehow awkwardly directed... plus, I feel Freen is too young for her role: she looks cool when she's all dressed up but she's not credible when she's acting strict and authoritarian.
Plus, the whole "at work" and "the boss attitude" thing is so naive: when they're talking about work issues I'm like: "seriously? is this an office or a playground?". maybe it's because I'm 35yo and running a company too, but I feel like the world they're trying to convey is just a fragile cardboard setting used as a plot device.
Mind me: I'm sticking to this series because I'm les too and I believe we need many more GLs stories/characters... maybe with this one it's just (for me, obviously) a slow start, filled with clichèes, and it will become better episode after episode. Fingers crossed.
1-- Can someone explain to me why these two keep on being shy over a forehead kiss, while they already had sex almost everywhere and they are supposedly sex-friends by months now?
2-- Ohm was amazingly beautiful in this episode, but still: Boun is too stunning to be legal.
3-- Please, someone teach the makeup artists how to use makeup... poor Prince...
We either need S2 with focus on Alex&RJ, or a rewind button to remake this drama without all these couples. ^^' I really loved it and I loved each and every character, but why adding so many if we get nothing out of them except fanservice...
2am in the morning, finished the series and a box of kleenex. 10/10 for me. I'm heartbroken, but not sad - this wonderful series put together so many important themes through the parallel fairytale/reality, it was eye-opening and hit very deep episode after episode.
Yes, there are things that could have been better, but those are just small details that fall behind the very complex family drama that this series is. Exactly like the Petit Prince the meanings of all characters and threads are multiple and people of different age and experience will have contrasting opinions of this series: as for me (I'm part of the "older" community, 35yo), it was realistic and painful and yet reassuring... I really wish and pray each and everyone of us will someday find their own Tofu to learn how to survive the harshness of life.

Watch it! I'm bingewatching it now and I've almost finished it... it's taking me longer than many series because this one really needs dedication, it's so deep and heartfelt! It's probably one of the best dramas with a gay relationship I've ever seen. <3
Ep.7 in, and this drama is slowly taking the lead among the many (...too many... XD) I've seen. Job has an amazing range of emotions, Nut is such a difficult character to portray and yet he really manages to convey his complexity and pain.
Loving all characters: I would love to have great humans like Gen and Song as friends, especially Gen who's always there for Nut in such a reassuring, wholesome way. I also understand Nut's issues: it's obvious he lived a terrible childhood/adolescence without anyone to look to, yet he's trying to find his self-realization in work and trying to cope with a sick mother while having his own psychological problems too... Honestly I cry whenever he smiles: every human deserves to be blessed by happiness and thinking some people have to endure misery throughout all their life is just painful.
And positive note: we don't have "BLs characters" here but "gay people" with different backgrounds and different levels of openness.
