I thought this was a remake of Zettai Kareshi so I jumped in for some fun, it turns out it's something different but similar and still fun and worth watching for a night of binegwatching... the actors were all very credible in their roles (except for Miona, pardon me but I really don't like her in any of her roles...) and special kudos to Sato, Hosoda and Komiya: I fell in love with all three of them!
Btw, for the whole series I kept thinking: Sato here has such strong KimuTaku vibes!
I said it last week too, but Sea looks dazzling wearing orange/kaki! Its' probably the only thing left for me to still watch...
-- why everyone always leaves the lights on? -- commercials -- alcool drinking in thai BLs is always so absurd... what the hell of a color have those drinks? and why in those glass bottles? -- bringing tables, plants, chairs, basically a whole livingroom in a campervan? -- commercials again -- showering someone while wearing your jeans on. yes man, that was genius move...! -- i get horror shivers whenever I see that maamaa carbonara instant ramen... sigh! (yes i'm italian XD) and yes, it means commercials again. -- sea's OST for this drama is cute, but please use a rec in which he sings it nicely... -- commercials anyone? -- my dears, if you don't want to be each other's boyfriend, here I am ready to get both of you. <3 -- never mind that: lalana I love you. -- did I say commercials already?
I'm very conflicted about this series... somehow the filming feels so bidimensional especially on faces... just like if they did waaaaaay too much photoshop on noses and skin. o_O
I haven't watched the manga, and maybe that might have helped in liking the characters a bit more... up to now, I feel a bit stressed out by Amagi's weirdness and movements (even tho' it makes me laugh a lot! XD).
Sidenote... I'm an old guard j-drama viewer (born 1987 XD), and Takara/Sato gives me soooo strong Yamapi vibes! XD
TunTalay are basically acting like a married couple of 90 years old: all sweetness and platonic love, and no physical relationship. But: "no no no we're not boyfriends!"
Everytime I read "16 episodes" I'm shocked: we're halfway thru and nothing happened (even tho' we're getting by average far more naked pecs than in any BL of the last decade-- and I won't complain about that).
Ohm: I love you but you're supposed to be an actor in this series, so please come back to life.
Rain&Phayu: <3 <3 <3
Almost every other character: some lessons of politeness, everyone?!?
This series has almost all possible angts clichèes and yet, all the actors did such an amazing job that it was impossible not to stay glued to the screen from beginning to end!
YinWar have probably become one of my favourite on/screen couples after watching Love Mechanics, they are both great actors and their chemistry is so natural...! Wow! Hope they get something new in which to star together again, possibly a bit more mature. <3
I still have to watch the final episode but I'm so happy I started this series, truth be said there are so many "unperfect" moments in the plot, but all in all it was very absorbing and I loved both Mark and Vee WITH their flaws.
I really hope they won't mess this series, because we're just halfway thru and it's a pure gem. Ep6 had me crying, the flow of events and the inner thoughts of Minato caught me so deep that I didn't even notice I was teary-eyed.
Loved the ex-GL: beautiful, understanding and human. If she doesn't find someone to marry, I'll gladly offer myself in case she dares to jump to the GL side of the wall. :D
And, yes. The coming out scene. We need more moments like that.
Sigh. Thank God Boun is one of the most fascinating men in the galaxy, because otherwise this drama has no meaning. And it could have been so much better, the plot could have been better exploited and all those hot guys (if better directed) could have done more... sigh.
I was really waiting for this episode knowing well it would have been emptyness dressed with fanservice. Still, after those horrid ending episodes of SiYH, it was cute to have some fluff and a decent ending for both couples. Fah and Prince are back to being adults who can communicate (even tho' they don't seem to get what exactly boyfriends do...) and I loved Mark's acting in this SP and how he was the "calmness" of the whole group. I managed to even like Dao in this episode!
I would have loved to see the wedding tho'... hot Mek in hot wedding suit. <3 XD
Great things about this show: 1. Naito's beautiful beauty 2. the final OST 3. Tomoyo's character
As for the rest, it's becoming a bit draggy. I still like it but Yanase feels a bit off in the last episodes and Kaneda is a bit too exaggerated. Still funny tho'.
I usually like Jimmy but he's not shining in this drama, I hope the director can "use" Jimmy and Sea a bit better because until now they don't look at ease in their roles and they don't match much.
Hopefully they will concentrate on the story, because I was really curious about that. Amazing colors and scenarios tho'!
Ah, yes. I love how in BLs we usually wait 10 eps for a kiss between the two MCs (not the case here obviously XD) but every ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend who crosses their way just kisses them with the worst timing ever. ^^'
I'm staying for YinWar because they are definitely amazing, in ep7 they both showed amazing performances. The plot... oh well, who cares, we've seen worse!

Now I'm in love with War and Yin. Cuties!
