There are so many things that went downhill with this series, and that's a pity because the cast was good and they probably tried their best to cope with such a terrible plot development.
I'll be happy to watch some fluff and cuteness (and shirtless Mek&Joong) next week, at least we can say goodbye to this series with something positive.
I love Lalana. I hope we keep on seeing her in every episode, even tho' I was a bit upset by the part "i'm a male who travelled and ended up in a female body".
Gosh I need some quality GLs dramas with hot women like her in the cast! <3
Am I the only one who finds Yeewah to be so insistent as to almost resulting in being abusive? Honestly if I were Mark I would be so irritated by the fact that everyone keeps forcing him in talking about his own feelings...!
Sigh. I swear I tried watching the first episode 5 times already, and I always fell asleep. I'll try again tonight but I'm afraid having partied till 5 in the morning won't help me stay awake.
I still ask myself: why don't/can't actors say something when they are called in to star for poorly developed series?
Oh, and am I the only one in love with Tomoyo (Sakata Rikako)? She is so beautiful and her character gives out these "i'm doing what i want" vibes while at the same time caring for Kaneda and the other staff.
This series is probably not one of the best ones from Japan this year, but it's still pretty funny, well filmed and yeah: Naito is so beautiful...! We're getting near the ending and I can't wait for next week to see a bit of fluff!
Nope... previous episodes were also "disastrous nonsense, and poor direction" but they just had enough fluff to…
Yeah I partially agree with that, I'm not ashamed to say I loved thi series up till now because it was "plain" yet heartwarming. I could overlook so many absurdities up to now, but this episode was really terribly executed. :/
Ok, I was almost hoping this show would keep on delivering nice, fun episodes for me to but this ep7 was the apocalypse of disastrous nonsense, and poor direction.
Only 2 cars in town, and the chief goes to the city for a moment yet that moments takes three days? Mesa has a cellphone, why isn't it working? Why move Yaya's walkietalkie from her house (where it was working) to Prince's house where it suddently doesn't work? How can Fah diagnose malaria in 3 split seconds? Why they keep on being shy for a cheek-kiss when they're 28 years old? The yellow flowers were horrible, they were almost all dry...! Why everyone swims in those muddy puddles 50cm deep? And seriously, piggyback him down the hill dressed in a tshirt and wearing slippers as it pours liters of rain? No friends to help him out in the whole town? And, why ask Dao anything about love since he was disastrous with Khluen? And anyway, why Dao again? Why everything about DaoKhluen is white, are they monks assigned for puritan symbolism? Why the shitty Sincere ex has to blame Prince's disease on Fah? Why everyone has to blame a doctor for choosing many people's life over one person? That's not being "workaholic", it's called: being responsible.
Ok sorry. Sorry, I'll stop. It's just... I was loving this series, it was so fluffy and cute and heartwarming and comforting... and now this episode is so delusional. Plus, the final looks sweet but clicheed as hell.
By watching his back, I was so sure the sensei would be Seichi Tanabe, I was shocked when he turned face forth and it actually wasn't him. XDDDDD
Anyway, I hope this drama doesn't get lost during the 12 episodes because till now the storytelling is lovely and so many things are happening withouth ever losing pace or rhythm.
I loved this drama as it started airing but somehow I got detached from the characters as time went by... the plot in the last episodes felt a bit of a "what?!?" and even though I have no real critic on it, during the last weeks I was so absorbed by Triage that KP slipped from my thoughts.
Anyway, amazing acting and chemistry between EVERYONE, I definitely felt like everybody in the team did their outmost effort to create a great product. I would love to see more of Kim, he was probably my favourite character and I can't get Jeff's voice out of my head... and the last VegasPeteMacau moment was the sweetest thing I've ever seen so I really hope we can get something more for them too.
what do you mean by terribly static. can u explain pls, don't really get it
They haven't met for such a long time and have been through a lot, and yet their kiss was so cold... Basically they were just standing there, still, in a "half-hug" kissing in a way that to me seemed rigid and lacking the chemistry that was present for the whole series. The encounter in the clocktower was sweet and cute, I just didn't feel the climax in the kiss.
I mean, I think we're used to this in BL series, but lately we've seen such great kisses that I'm getting spoiled! XD
This is one of those series that deserve a 10/10 for so many factors: great plot, great acting, great music, great storytelling, great interaction between characters and great chemistry between actors, great message delivered.
Yes, the finale could have been better: I loved TinTol chemistry but the final kiss was terribly static, and Tol's loop deserved at least one more episode... but still, every gap was filled and what remains a mystery hopefully will get a second series... :D :D :D *hopes and fingers crossed!*
The most important thing anyway is... I'm on team Sing till the end!! I will miss this role from Tonnam, he was amazing and looking so hot as a doctor! <3
Vee has an older brother named Yoo, which is already at the start of the series out and about being gay. Vee and…
Thank you very much! I didn't read the novel and this is actually the first "en of love" series that I watch so it was hard to understand some of those attitudes. Thanks for the recap!
From day to night in 3 split seconds, and in those 3 seconds Mark managed to walk pretty far and almost get assaulted.…
Oh and before someone says it: I usually like plots where you have to "build" the information or somehow extract them from the narration... it's just, here there are so many info missing...
From day to night in 3 split seconds, and in those 3 seconds Mark managed to walk pretty far and almost get assaulted. ^^
This series has amazing main leads and great chemistry, but the editing is terrible and it makes watching it so confusing, there are so many holes in the storytelling... who's Yoo? Vee's brother? And he's gay and his brother hates him for bringing a boyfriend home in the past? When did someone explain it?
I'm forgiving everything because both Vee and Mark are lovely characters (I mean, they have many issues, but they are somehow relatable and likeable) and the two actors are doing an amazing performance (AND they are both so damn goodlooking!)
Great work from all the young actors, I loved Kura-kun from HIS and I think it was great to have him perform a somehow opposite role in this... plus, Mizusawa reminded me a lot from Nino's acting and jestures (Ninomiya from Arashi), so I really doted on him here.
This show might be the answer as to "why?" I really love asian cinematography, especially japanese: the art of giving so much by showing just so little. <3
Somehow I feel like Mark has been a bit off and weird with his acting in the last episodes... he started well in the first ones with his "cool-rigid-distant" mood but now he should be a bit more smooth, instead he keeps on being so rigid... but still, I love PrinceFah interactions and their sweet moments always put a huge smile on my face.
Mek is more and more beautiful at each episode...!
And anyway, this show is worth watching even just for the communication goals the ML are achieving: I love, love, LOVE! the fact that they SPEAK and SOLVE issues talking and explaining, how normal people would do.

That said, VV first episode nailed it for me!
