He well knew the consequences of his actions , since he's admitting he doesn't like Ink. Then he waited for him at the medicine store to ensure Pat got his bruises treated and got his chat ID.
All Pran needed was a chance at love. And once Pat gave he, he showed how well he could love. So he's not a frustrating character as people make him out to be. He had his reasons to put those walls around him.
