yeah. as far as i know they kinda 'banned' the time travel story. so the writer and director must clever with that limitation. the article that i've found on google state: 'China’s media authorities have stopped the clock on time travel in film and television, saying the sci-fi notion “disrespects history.”' I don't know how far it's reach... but we can see some changing in plot-setting in c-drama time travel story in recent year...
Really fun to read all the comment. I really like the chemistry between ZLS & WL. For the love Shao Shang for Bu Yi. I would say she actually love him when she first met him at the fire scene, she just doesn't really understand what love is, because no one ever give to her since her childhood. & maybe you can say the love 'growing' by how Bu Yi protect her & always ready to be defend her. Like how Bu Yi defend her with 5th princess and her gank or how he defend her after her mother humiliate her in front of the emperor & his family. Haha... Just my opinion. Hope not cause another argument.

oh yeah me too, not all her opinion I agree. But sometimes it's a start. That's why except Xu Kai I still try to watch this. because everyone opinion about drama always never the same & we all have our own biased
